I haven't tossed it in a pool, but I take it in the shower, by hot tub, by the kitchen sink.. it stays put. I can answer the phone with it. I luv it. It's a great little portable speaker! Take it anywhere!

We have had this Bluetooth speaker for about a month now and love it! Sounds great and it's nice taking it to the pool and not worry if kids will throw it in.

I looked everywhere for an affordable waterproof Bluetooth speaker that I could take on my boat or to the beach. I also wanted one durable enough to take the beating that could be dealt out by kids. This speaker fills the bill. It has excellent sound quality. Also, it is not only waterproof, but it also floats which makes it easier to retrieve if it falls or is dropped off a boat (again kids). The sound quality did not falter when in the water.

I bought this for my step dad and he absolutely loves it! Great sound and full-proof so we know it cant really get damaged. A great buy!

I have had many different portable speakers. This one by far surpasses them all. I like to take my speaker to the beach and with this speaker I don't have to worry about water.

Great sound and great battery life. Battery life dies quickly if you use the USB to charge up your phone so that is something that might be of interest. Totally worth it though

This is the best speaker I've ever bought and it's basically industruntable, I have dropped it down rocks accidentally and it still works great. It even works in water!!!!

I purchased this speaker to have some music when sitting outside on the patio. The battery life is excellent and the sound is decent for the size of the drivers in the speaker.

I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of sound with the speaker. It fills my entire yard and pool area with amazing, deep, rich sound. I have about two acres and it does the job with no hesitation or feedback or distortion. A little pricey but I think this thing is well worth it. Also love the waterproof rating.

It was so good I bought one for my other half and one for my parents. the sounds are great and it appears to be very resilient. I have not used the charging options to charge other devices but it is good to know I have the option. The battery life appears to be great. I like to use it over night to listen to calming music. It does turn off after an extended use or when not used which saves battery.

Bought this when I found it for fifty bucks. I already own the boom jacket 2 so this was a no brainer. Just as good as the 2 but unfortunately this one doesn't have pairing ability with multiple speakers. Sound is loud but would like it to be louder. Bass is kinda weak but overall a good price for a reliable speaker. Took it tubing and it ended up in the water a few times. Works like a champ.

The Boomjacket is a good all weather all around speaker. Though it is a little weak on the base end it still delivers a high quality sound at all volume levels, It's got a tough exterior that has held up in the yard and beach with no problems. The battery has also held a charge for hours on end without a problem. I bought this on a flash sale, so I'm good with the price and the performance.

Not a techy type person I can honestly state that this unit does everything with all the ease it promises. My grandson loved his (tested it IN the pool) and I decided to get one for the house as we spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors and water activities. Pairs quickly with all devices, sounds great and withstands the elements! Best Buys "Deal of the Day" price made it a STEAL!

Got this speaker on sale for $49.99. Probably worth the regular retail, but DEFINITELY worth the sale price. Says it holds a charge for 50 hours...haven't used it that much yet, but haven't had to recharge... Dropped it overboard at the lake to my family's horror (they didn't know it was waterproof or floated) and it kept playing like nothing ever happened. Great speaker for money!

Bought this speaker to use at camp and on the boat, mainly because it's waterproof. Haven't dropped it in the lake to see if it actually floats, but have left it on the table at camp during a rain storm, and it's definitely waterproof. As far as the sound goes, no complaint's; it has amazing quality for it's size and it's loud enough to hear over a 2 cycle boat engine at full bore.

This Altec Lansing Boom Jacket IMW576-BLU speaker was a great buy on sale at Best Buy. It is very easy to operate and produces very good and loud sound with more bass than I expected from this relatively small speaker. Being water proof and the ability to float will be great to have out on the jet skis. Using it as a speaker phone also worked very well. I would recommend this product.

Great battery life and decent sound for the price. Works throughout the house regardless of walls or floors. Easy pairing. Was up and running in less than a minute.

Summary says it all but this product has it all. It delivers great sound in a nearly impervious-to-damage form factor.

I purchased this speaker to use in my office, when I want to listen to music from my iTunes. Decent clarity, plus can get loud enough to fill the room if I wanted.
