Good build and nice quality feel to it. However, it didn't last too long before the audio became crackly. Disappointed. The Altec Lansing intro when you fire it up is a bit annoying. A bit of unnecessary product advertisement.

Once you use the wireless charger while using it for music it just gets staticky. You get what you pay for. The more upper tier models of this brand I can recommend. Better sound & louder overall

I purchased this speaker because a friend had the same model and I was impressed with the sound quality. The one I received sounded like an old clock radio immediately upon using. Even after a charge, the speaker sounds awful. No particular type of music sounds good on this speaker, even at a low volume. I suppose that you get what you pay for, though I have since replaced this speaker with a cheaper brand and the sound quality greatly exceeds this particular speaker. The rubber casing on this speaker is also flawed, rendering the charger port cover useless.

Could only give this speaker a three star rating because you can't adjust the sounds settings in the App. or with the speaker menu settings. It would be nice to adjust Bass level etc. The settings right now are hard on the ears in a confined area.

The exterior is rugged but there are some features that are lacking quality such as the wireless charger which is pretty slow and fidgety

only inside normal use and speaker already blew sounded nice when It worked.

Not impressed with Altec Lansing quality control. The charging port was loose and would not receive the charging plug. there was glue all over the boomJacket Jolts exterior. Did not contact Altec Lansing just returned item to store.

DO NOT BUY!! I did the 6 hour warm up as directed, and 6 hours of regular use the right speaker blew. Sound was like listening to yelling through a tin can. I should have known better considering the display was down.

After first recharge after random useless then 2hours, charge lasted another 3 hours and stops... because I am past the return time listed on my account I can not return for another.

I got this speaker and it worked for 30 minutes and quit working and smelled like it was fried . I had to buy a new one this was junk . Spent $75 for something that didn’t work .

We travel a lot and no matter where we go, we like to have music playing. We've used other wireless speakers before but all they could do was play music. Not only does the BoomJacket Jolt play great-sounding music, I love how it can go everywhere you want to go...even in the water. And the wireless phone charging means the music never has to stop!

After reading the reviews raving about how great the sound quality, I decided to buy one. When I set it up and played some Twenty One Pilots and Imagine Dragons, I was extremely disappointed when I heard crackling and distortion at low to mid volume. The base was almost none existent. Compared to the Sony XBR-32 that I traded it in for yesterday, it pales in comparison. The unit may be cheaper and more rugged, but not worth the compromise. Get a Sony or Bose speaker if you want good sound quality, not this one.
