I use this speaker at my desk for streaming audio. It is small, so do not expect large speaker sound, but it is well made and very light. It charges quickly, connects easily and sounds great. I got it on sale, so it was definitely worth the value.

Have a problem with my laptop's soundcard. I purchased this little guy to go with me to my woodworking shop so I could play audio from my laptop. Great sound for such a little speaker. Bring dust proof is an added bonus in a woodworking shop.

I needed a new speaker to have out by the pool and decided to get this one. However, I ordered online and didn't realize just how tiny this thing was. It's roughly 1/2-3/4" the size of current smart phones. Despite its size it does get loud enough if you're just trying to leisurely listen to some music. Won't get the job done for a party but if it's just you and a couple people it works fine. Also, I have had trouble getting my phone's bluetooth to connect to the speaker but it included an aux cable so this was not a huge deal to me.

My daughter and her boyfriend wanted one of the small Bluetooth speakers to take while they were on their kayaks. This is what they got for Christmas. This Nifty little thing is waterproof, floats in the water and they have already enjoyed it!

Speaker does the job. But I agree with other reviewers about the annoying "welcome to altec lansing" voice. Is it really necessary to welcome me every time I turn it on?? Good value though

Bought this with some reward money! For a little thing it lets out some good sound especially for the cost and the fact that is is water proof

Bought this for a trip on the river. First thing I did was drop it into the water to see if it would still work. It did! Pretty rugged, but not all that loud.

These are good given the price point. But they are small and not very loud. Best use is in a quite space when you need a little ambience. Or as stocking stuffers. I returned it. Never realized I am a bit of an audio snob!

It has above-average sound the lights are good to let you know if it's charging or charged and the size is good to put it in your pocket

All-in-all a great little speaker. It's durable with pretty good sound quality. Connection quality can be finicky at times, and Bluetooth connection to computers has been a nightmare.

It does exactly as it was meant to. Can get loud if you push it. I haven't tried the water capabilitys yet but I'm sure it's there. Got it at a good deal that's why I'm excited.

For the money i paid for this product it has far exceeded my expectations

I got this speaker for my granddaughter in college. She uses it in her older car for her music. She can bluetooth to her devices and play her music on the speaker in her car.

This speaker puts out an incredible sound. You won't be disappointed .

It works well, the only thing is to me is that the battery goes low fast. Other than that the volume is good and convenience to take it anywhere​.

the loud sound that says altec Lansing when you turn it on is horrible.

Perfect speaker. I use it while outdoors as well as a shower speaker.

I was a little worried it was too small to make good sound. But oh man! This little guy has bass. Clean sound. Actually went and bought the big one to add to our collection.

Average sound quality. Will be returning. I like the waterproof feature, but the sound has near zero bass and there's no option to adjust.
