Announcement for "Powering on / off" and "Connected to Altec Lansing" is intrusively LOUD and cannot be reduced or stopped. Hence 3 stars.

Its water proof

The speaker definitely is durable but the quality has definitely gone down but for the money it was worth what i paid for it.
