Great Sound, Poor Charger design

It worked fantastic for the first couple of uses. The sound was amazing and the range was pretty good. However, the charger kills this product. It won't keep a charge, even for letting sit for an entire day. The charger port itself hasn't fallen into the speaker but it just refuses to keep a charge longer than 5-8 minutes. When i plug it in, the red light that is supposed to appear doesn't, so I assume either the battery in my unit is bad or the port itself is faulty. I loved my speaker and would love to get another but I am unsure if its worth the full 100 dollars if the charger again has problems. ( If any Best Buy Support would like to further contact me , please do)
