Great for podcasts and audiobooks!

It was extremely "boomy" and I found the spoken words of newscasts, audiobooks, and podcasts to be extremely difficult to understand. On the advice of a sales rep, I traded it in for this speaker. The sound from the Altec Lansing is very natural and easy to listen to. Music also sounds great when played through it.
