This unit doesn’t hav the clarity or big sound like the regular life jacket.

Sounds ok but when you try to put to put it loud it gets very distorted. But my biggest problem with it is that the battery is dying. I only use it in the bathroom when Im taking a shower so maybe 10 15 minutes a day. I will try to charge it but it takes forever to charge and thats if it does charge. I had it on charge for three weeks and it just stood at 70%. I tried all different chargers I have in the house and its still the same. If I dissconnect the charging cable the battery dies real fast. Now its been stuck on 10% for 4 days now. You know whats sad is that Altec knows about their faulty batteries that they have instructions online how to take this thing apart and try and repair it yourself. I will definitely not buy another one of their products again.

Can not be easily paired with another speaker. Reception spotty even when inches from cell phone. Altec is a pain to work with, my only option is waiting 6 weeks to 2 months for a replacement. Bestbuy unwilling to send another, and I am trying not to go out during pandemic. I won't buy another Altec product, it seems they have fallen way behind on their app support.

Bad pricing
