TOO. MUCH. BASS.

The bass is way too high, the lights are annoying, and the sound quality is very poor. It's like someone forgot to adjust the equalizer when they made it.

Repeated defective Bluetooth connection

They offered for me to to send back. What a pain! Right after new, unable to connect to Bluetooth. The big problem, one is from 2 years ago and at least 1 generation apart. They still have not fixed! The answer they give is let the battery run out and try again. So you're without unit for 5 days waiting for the power light to go out. Then, 2 times later it happens again. So again today, at the pool, no tunes. Thanks Altec Lansing.

I returned it for a refund. I was going to use this with an older t.v. with a transmitter that hooked on the back of the t.v. The units were both returned because they both needed to be charged a lot. We went with a wired speaker for the t.v.

Very Cool Little Speaker

I am using it now for the first time so I can't speak for the water, mud, and snow resistance yet. I can say I LOVE the look and feel of it with the rubber coating and lighting is cool feature. Sound is decent for a small inexpensive speaker, louder and more full than I expected. will get back with a later review for battery life/charging capabilities. I also noticed on the bottom it has a screw plug so that it can be mounted on a small tripod or something like that. Very cool. Not sure if you can link it with another Jolt IMW479L but if you can that would just put it over the top!!! 110% would recommend this to anyone so far at least.
