Really impressed with this speaker. Easy to carry, wireless charging for your cell phone, good battery life, and the sound quality is quite good....We’ll see how long the battery last while stuck indoors with all this virus stuff going on

We have needed a portable bluetooth speaker for a while. We are huge lovers of outdoor activities like beach days (Florida natives) and camping. With that, comes a need for a rugged speaker that can safely be used outside without worry of rain or the elements messing it up. The fact that the Altec Lansing SoundBucket XL is waterproof made it an ideal choice for us. We don't have to worry about the rain or some water getting on it and ruining it. It also holds up really well to sand and dirt too. My favorite feature about this sturdy speaker is that it can charge your phone while you are using it. This kept our device charged all day for other things like selfies and photos of our trips, while also providing us with plenty of tunes to keep us entertained. The sound quality is great, and rarely did we have issues with interference. The bluetooth distance is pretty darn decent too. If you like the outdoors, and need a portable speaker for your fun, then this one is a great choice!

Speaker is definitely on the large side, but it's easy to carry with the built-in handle. I love the wireless charging Qi pad for your cell phone so you can stream music and stay charged. I haven't test how rugged it is in the elements, but it's nice to not have to be worried about rain, light water splashes or dirt/dust while using it. Battery life seems to be good and even while charging your phone wirelessly. Sound quality is quite good and so is the volume. My only nitpick is that it's difficult to change bluetooth sources if your paired device won't automatically disconnect. In other words, putting the speaker in pairing mode won't always allow you to connect to a another device until the 1st one disconnects.

I received this speaker to share my honest review. I was a little nervous when I took the speaker out of the box for the first time because the metal cover was detached from the speaker as I lifted it up. Without an issue I was able to snap it back in and it looks like it is actually removable, although I wouldn't recommend trying to remove without a reason. Once I turned the speaker on and hooked it up to my phone, setup was very easy and quick. The speaker sound was great and my favorite feature was the wireless charging. I think this speaker would be the perfect party speaker or even assembly speaker if you hold meetings or assemblies at work. The lights are fun to watch change with the music and entertaining for the family!

I'm the tech guy in the family, always expected to bring the latest gear whenever we get together. Summertime means picnics and backyard parties... which means I have to supply the sound. I may have found my favorite outdoor party speaker yet in the Altec Sound Bucket XL. It has all the features I thought I wanted, and then a few more. One more thing: I thought the Qi charging pad was a gimmick, until I realized I was using it at every single BBQ we went to.

This speaker is portable, detachable cord. Charge lasted a long time, Charges fast, Easy to pair your phone to. VERY LOUD speaker, we put this in our gym and i cant even turn it up all the way indoors. amazing sound quality, great bass, AND BEST OF ALL i got it for 50% off. Keep your eye out for deals but this is defiantly an awesome pickup

Good sound quality, 360° speakers allows you to enjoy music whoever you are in rhe room. Handle makes for easy transport. The speaker has a nice weight so it won't blow over and will not easily tilt. 20 hrs of battery life makes this an excellent choice. I highly recommend the speaker. Purchased 4/29/20

Great sound, easy to sync with phone. Wirelessly fast charges phone if your phone is QI equipped. Portable and pretty light weight. I love the fact that it has interchangeable color display for night listening.

This portable bluetooth speaker is very well build. This is a must have, if your working in a shop or in a construction field. I had the jbl xtreme and I'm always worry about someone will damage the side passive. The sound is very clean, and the bass is well balanced. I own this unit about a month in a half and the subwoofer is blown with normal usage, product is still under warranty so I'm not even worry about it. I still give it a 5 star because I had other brand portable speaker that failed within a year.

We have a lot of tech gadget in our home since my SO is in the tech industry. This speaker is hands down our favorites. It's waterproof, so there's no worry about taking it outside for a pool party when my son has his friends over. The sound is crisp and there's speakers all around the "bucket" so there's no dead spot. The subwoofer gives a nice "boom" so you can feel the music as well. Battery life is really good and lasts all day, plus the added benefit of a phone charging doc or plug in makes it multitask.

I bought this product for an outdoor party. It had great sound and lasted the whole party(at least 7 hrs). I only charged it the one time before the party and it is still running off that first charge 1 and a half months later. Some of my friends are even thinking of buying this brand speak because they like the sound bucket I have and other Bluetooth speakers from the same manufacturer.

Got this for our outside patio and it works great. Nice and loud - good bass. Beat feature is it allows you to charge other items through USB which was great for my I-pad and the wireless charging pad is great for the phone. Really well thought out! Also got on sale - double bonus

The wireless charging on top is awesome, the handle is super sturdy despite the photos looking weak. Connectivity is easy and fast, but the sound quality is just not there. Sure the speaker gets very loud even outside so if you want a loud speaker it might be for you. For reference, the UE boom and Bose soundlink mini which are both 1/3 the size of this speaker sound much better quality. I’m returning after one day and upgrading to the JBL boombox. Would give Best Buy 5 stars. Their order processing times are stellar. Order today, have your product tomorrow

This was exactly what I needed for my front porch. I hang it in the tree so the people walking (COVID exercise) can hear some good tunes as they pass my house. It sounds pretty good. Not perfect, a bit of distortion when turned up. I love it, also great battery life.

This is the best speaker ever. The sound is awesome and it’s great to have out by the pool. I also love the fact that wirelessly charges my phone while it’s playing. Best value ever.

This speaker is all you need I use it for my TV to if you can find one on sale go for it .Sound is fantastic weatherproof and has lights built in to you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Excellent speaker, great sound. Excellent option to charge your phone on top. Flashing lights not all that amazing, but that was the least of my worries. It has very good sound.

Already friends who heard ours have bought their own. The combination of tweeters, mid range, and woofer create detailed sound, even at louder volume. Perfect foe a large patio.

Very light weight and easy to carry around...great sound I’m using 2 very easy to pair and the sound from one side of the patio to the other is really nice
