From other reviews, it is apparent that this is a common problem. Don’t give this as a gift! The screen is difficult to see at an angle or from a distance more than 3 feet away. Plan to put it on your office desk, not in your livingroom.

Do not buy. Distorted pictures you cannot fix.

I connected with 2 different people at Aluratek. One was more helpful, the other never got back to me after I sent him copy of 4 photos so he could see. Which is what he asked for. Never heard from him again. I finally, after no help from Aluratek, took the digital picture frame back to Best Buy. I bought their Insignia 10" frame. Happy.
