Yes, there is some noticeable lag when compared to using wired CarPlay, but I have found this to be the case with any wireless adapter.

Turned my USB wired Pioneer head unit with CarPlay which did not support my iPhone 16 Pro Max and turned it into a wireless and convenient solution. Get one!

Bad latency when changing tracks and on calls. The call issue made it feel like i needed to wait 2-3 seconds to respond otherwise id be talking over people. Signal cut out consistently in the same areas. Im assuming there was some sort of wireless interference at those locations.
