Only to fix it is to unplug and wait 10 seconds or more before plugging back in. If you dont wait long enough it’ll go back to the frozen state

Activates right away, within 30 seconds. However at least once a day it seems to have issue connecting with phone. I have to shut off Bluetooth on phone and turn back on to fix

Sync it one time to your phone via Bluetooth and automatically pairs when you start the car after that. If you’ve been thinking about it, get it, 100% worth it.
