Easy to set up and for the most part, it works. However, it starts to skip after a few days of using it. Sometimes it takes a while for it to start up or to respond to steering wheel controls. If these issues can be solved, it would be amazing.

I plugged the device in as the instructions said. It worked about one full day. After that it would not see the Android Auto as set on my phone. I tried several things. I replaced the cables that came with the device. It worked! So I thought. It quit working again and the only way I could see my phone was plug the cable into the phone and back on my car. It works fine. But, that defeats the purpose of a wireless adapter. I call CS and they were no help at all. I'll just take my loss on this divice. Best Buys, one of the best stores in this country agreed to refund my money. But, I'm not driving 45 mins from my home for a small refund.

Great product haven’t had any issue's it’s fast and not laggy really happy with it.

Seems OK but couldn't get it to work on my OEM receiver. I found out that my receiver already needed to have Android Auto, which it doesn't.

Wouldn’t work with my vehicle. The instructions weren’t very clear. It was returned.

This product worked fine at first but it is not lag free as many say it is. Im on the newest iphone with the newest iOS version. It would also sometimes just not connect and id have to restart my phone and unplug it from my car and replug. Unfortunately when i finally decided i wanted to return the item my return window was closed so im stuck with it. Went back to using a cable and havent had a single issue since.

I needed a car play car adapter and the people at Best Buy were very helpful.

It's cool when it works or doesn't drop connection which half the time

When it connects it connects but I have had problems getting it to connect when my hotspot is on.

The adaptor works with my vehicle, but it takes 2 or 3 minutes to start up 85% of the time, and while playing music, it likes to glitch out.

It stopped working. I didn’t leave mine plugged in because I didn’t want it to continue to pull power but when vehicle not in use but there would be times i’d plug it in and it would just remain on the connection screen then just go back to my regular screen and touching carplay would do nothing

I purchased this item after having purchased a different one which didn’t work this one started off well but after two weeks is also not working correctly it gets hot and sometimes dose not connect

Short version: Don’t buy it, its glitchy and only works when it feels like it. On a 2020 Denali I have about a 30% success rate. Detailed story:Product worked great for a couple of days, and as far as wireless carplay in general (maps, spotify, siri, etc) it still seems capable from my experience with it SO FAR. About 3 days after I got it, it started having issues with placing calls. It will start showing “Calling Soandso” and then show the call timer but I have zero audio on my end. The people I’ve attempted to call have reported mixed results, some have actually received calls and answered them but they can’t hear me, I can’t hear them. I’ve even tested it when I’m parked somewhere so my cell service is the same, and same deal. I can even change the call source to my iPhone and it does the same thing, UNLESS I disconnect this adapter, and all is well. But in order to install the adapter, you permanently* disconnect your phone from your vehicle so there’s no quick way to go back to using your standard wired carplay. At first, this thing seemed awesome, now it’s getting returned.

Bought before long road trip. Feoze several tomes and the aidio has a long lag! Frustrating, map feoze when needed it to navigate rheough lathe city traffic!

Product work occasionally in my GMC Yukon. The instructions are pretty bleak as well. I wouldn't recommend and it makes sense why it was discounted.

When it works, it works well. But randomly it will lose connection and while driving and relying this for my gps and hands free driving, the connectivity should be flawless

Worked well for 2 weeks, randomly reset and wouldnt connect after. Save your money.
