Once you have a Bluetooth transmitter, you will be hooked. My prior transmitter died on me due to a broken wire from the device to the RCA jack. I made the mistake of taking it with me on vacation instead of leaving it hooked into the television where it worked for almost 3 years. I needed a substitute immediately and could not wait to order online so I went straight to Best Buy. The clerk said there were none in the store but the web site said there was. When I found it and reported back to the clerk, he said he wasn't counting that because it got a lot of returns. Being familiar with the product in general, I knew it was an easy bet to buy the product. Purchased. So the product works fine. A little less costly than my prior devise. But strangely it has better audio. The instructions say to turn on my headphones first and the Bluetooth transmitter second. But thus far it has turned on both ways. I don't feel confident leaving it plugged in continuously like my prior transmitter because it seems to turn itself on when plugged in, with the light blinking red/blue. The devise works fine and still syncs but I'm guessing it probably won't last over 2 years like my prior transmitter. As far as the superior audio. That was not the case in the beginning. I was running the transmitter while it was plugged in. There was some noticeable but ignorable white noise in the background. When I unplugged the devise the interference stopped and the audio was clear with no lag. However with some of my marathon TV viewing sessions, I just might have to put up with the white noise to avoid running out of power. And while the audio tops my prior devise, the range does not. If I go to the doorway to do pullups (don't judge) , the devise cuts out. My prior devise would not cut out even if I went to the bathroom . . . and closed the door . . . One other thing, the RCA cord is short, and because this devise was turning on by itself when plugged in, I decided to get and extension. Now the devise hangs just below the TV and I can see what's what. I'm more a functionality guy an not an esthetics guy, so no issues. Bottom line, I am happy customer, I love listening to TV with my wireless headphones and the house is a much quieter place. Everyone wins.

Returned product because the audio delay was unsatisfactory.

My iPad and cell phone would not pick up the Bluetooth signal.

Waste of time & money. Returned it immediately after buying.

This is a nice little transmitter! I’ve never used Bluetooth to connect a speaker/headphones to anything other than a phone or tablet, so this was a new experience. It was very easy. All you do is plug this transmitter in, push the pair button, and turn on whatever you want to pair to it. If you only have one connection to it, you can do it again to add a second speaker or pair of headphones. In using this, I found that the speakers I connected fell out of sync regularly. If you want to set up speakers for a surround-sound effect, you may have difficulty. However, I cannot confirm if this was due to my specific speakers (different models may work differently). It worked, for almost a week, then quit, I returned.

Was not compatible with the 2010 TV that I was using
