Returned this item. Not the kind of thingy for real-time music playing with my home entertainment system.

This was recommended to us by Best Buy, but it will not work. I need to return it ... second item we have tried, using their recommendation...

The gadget simply didn't work and I returned it to the store (Best Buy on Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fl.) and was refunded.

Unfortunately the return period lapsed or would have returned. Does not allow for 2 connections, which is only reason I purchased.

Bluetooth works only for a few feet. Furthermore, there is a noticeable delay in playback when using both wired speakers and speakers connected to the bluetooth audio transmitter.

Would not pair with my Bluetooth headphones. Retuned to store.

Tried setting up with one Bluetooth headset and audio only came out one ear. Tried a different headset and audio came out both sides but lag time so audio did not sync with picture.

Didn’t work on my Skullcandy Cassette Bluetooth headphones.

Okay, I had got this being told that it'd allow me to use my Bluetooth headphones for the television soundbar. But it doesn't recognize any device, so back to the store it went.

You can do this so much easier with the MEE transmitter. This took changing the audio signal to analog (another purchase) and left wires everywhere and kept loosing sync. Took it back.

I now have something that does not work and the instructions are worthless. The instructions seems to be written for someone that already knows how to use it or badly translated.

This devices looses signal when connected to my ipod in my front pocket and my wireless headphones on. If I can't physically see the device in front of me, it will not be reliable.

Probably one of the dumbest inventions. Maybe for a laptop this will work, but a tv? No way.

Six weeks after the return period ended it no longer charges. $40 wasted.

I was told this gizmo would allow tv programs to be sent to Alex in another room so I could hear it doing exercises. It doesn’t. Thank goodness it wasn’t that expensive.

Doesn't work if you're trying to bluetooth a subwoofer to your receiver. You will need something that gives you an FM frequency

I purchased the Aluratek - Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter Model: ABC01F from Best Buy to add Bluetooth audio capabilities to my car. The car radio does have Bluetooth for the phone, but does not have it for audio. I didn't want a product that would 'take over' the phone capabilities of the car. Startup was simple. I switched the Aluratek to 'Receive' mode (switch on the side of the device), plugged it in to my AUX port on the radio and turned it on. My iPhone 7 almost immediately paired to it and Pandora began to play thru my radio speakers. The sound was just as good as when I plugged in my lightning connector to the AUX port. Reviews of other similar products that I looked at stated that there was a buzzing sound from the radio if the Bluetooth device was charging via the car's cigarette lighter. This is definitely not the case for the Aluratek. I keep the device constantly charging on the cigarette lighter. This way I never have to worry about recharging it or having it run empty while driving. Sound is great, even at low volume levels. With the top of the car down, and the radio turned up high, I hear no distortion. When I leave the car, I don't do anything with the Aluratek. It automatically powers down in about 5 minutes. I also do not stop Pandora on my iPhone. When it loses the Bluetooth connection, it simply goes into pause-mode. When I return to the car, I simply give the Aluratek a quick turn-on (small power button on the side of the device). The iPhone pairs automatically, and after about 10 seconds, Pandora resumes. In all, I'm very happy with this device and would recommend it to anyone looking to add Bluetooth audio to their car's radio thru the AUX port.
