I ended up buying one with a screen, that actually shows it is connected and what brand of item is being connected to the transmitter.

Works but no battery charge indicator

It works as advertised but I hear no change in volumn when pressing +/- buttons. Bluetooth sound is distorted when battery is low. I don't know about battery charge because unless I'm missing something in the instructions, there is no way to tell about the percentage of charge remaining. There is a change in LED color when battery need charging..

Receiver/transmitter continually blanks out

However, within minutes, the system shuts down and requires me to turn off unit and restart. I am using it with my tv located on a small balcony at my condo. Regular tv sound would be too noisy. When working, it is great.

Cheaply built, doesn’t work as advertised.

Difficulty pairing, would constantly disconnect then pair to random items <- NOT GREAT ON AN AIRPLANE WHERE EVERYONE HAS A BLUETOOTH HEADSET! IF we could get it to connect there was only audio from one side each? The construction quality is cheap, the cords are extremely loose and fall out. Tried to return it as soon as possible but the return window at BEST Buy is 14 days? For defective items? What a waste of money
