    I am pairing this transmitter with a microphone with it's own power source ( best buy does not sell this kind yet) and a great pair of headphones for my almost deaf father-in-law. The transmitter and micro phone work great. Now just trying to find the right kind of headphones.

    At the time I purchased this I told the sales rep who was helping me that I needed something that would allow me to listen to the radio while I worked outside in my two acre yard. This product does not even come close. Shame on me for not paying more attention at the time of purchase. The transmission range for this product is only 33 feet. That's hardly enough to cover within the interior of my home let alone my yard. It works well within the 33 feet, but certainly not beyond that.
