I purchased the Aluratek - Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter Model: ABC01F from Best Buy to add Bluetooth audio capabilities to my car. The car radio does have Bluetooth for the phone, but does not have it for audio. I didn't want a product that would 'take over' the phone capabilities of the car. Startup was simple. I switched the Aluratek to 'Receive' mode (switch on the side of the device), plugged it in to my AUX port on the radio and turned it on. My iPhone 7 almost immediately paired to it and Pandora began to play thru my radio speakers. The sound was just as good as when I plugged in my lightning connector to the AUX port. Reviews of other similar products that I looked at stated that there was a buzzing sound from the radio if the Bluetooth device was charging via the car's cigarette lighter. This is definitely not the case for the Aluratek. I keep the device constantly charging on the cigarette lighter. This way I never have to worry about recharging it or having it run empty while driving. Sound is great, even at low volume levels. With the top of the car down, and the radio turned up high, I hear no distortion. When I leave the car, I don't do anything with the Aluratek. It automatically powers down in about 5 minutes. I also do not stop Pandora on my iPhone. When it loses the Bluetooth connection, it simply goes into pause-mode. When I return to the car, I simply give the Aluratek a quick turn-on (small power button on the side of the device). The iPhone pairs automatically, and after about 10 seconds, Pandora resumes. In all, I'm very happy with this device and would recommend it to anyone looking to add Bluetooth audio to their car's radio thru the AUX port.

This piece of junk didn't work. The instructions were worthless. I returned it and thankfully the return process was painless. BB should't stock stuff that doesn't work.

Terrible quality. The sound and the distance of the Bluetooth are falsely advertised. Returned it immediately.

Dies alot and have to keep power supply to it frequently.

I would not buy again the sound Quality sucks and I would not recommend to anyone

NOT COMPATIBLE AT ALL. IT SHOULD BE ADVISED WITH WHAT BRANDS AND PRODUCTS WILL WORK. THIS ITEM IS AN OVERSALE.

Not useful for the purpose I needed, which was to be able to mute the TV but still listen via headphones

This receiver/transmitter didn't work for me. The transmission was intermittent. Only ever other word could be heard. Very annoying. I had to return it.

It will not pair with my Airpods Pro 2, very disappointing

Absolutely garbage. Purchased 2 within a year and both went bad.

This is a great idea, but the delayed sound is aggravating. It’s a slight pause when watching shows, but never the less distracting

It's signal range is way weaker than advertised. It was as advertised at least 30 ft and mine would cut on and off at ten feet

Didnt work well, distance was not very good for the bluetooth connection. Returned and bought a better unit.

This little device succeeded where others had failed - AND in so doing has allowed me to connect my phone to my older non bluetooth adapted Bose Wave Radio/CD player through a faultless bluetooth connection. Not the cheapest Aux to Bluetooth device you'll find - but given how easy it is to charge, set up and pair I have no regrets whatsoever. More to the point - thanks to this little guy I can now play whatever I choose from my phone based music collection once again getting the benefit of the incredible sound reproduction of my trusty old Bose Wave Radio/CD Player.

This transmitter did not work for My application. to transmit from stereo receiver to wireless speakers.
