The Aluratek - Bluetooth Wireless Audio Extender is a marvel of audio technology in a neat little package. Aluratek audio extender allows you to stream audio from a variety of audio sources (TV, computers/laptops, mobile devices) to any stereo system or audio device equipped with the proper inputs. Alternatively, you can transmit audio from a non-bluetooth enabled device (such as a television that only uses Optical outputs or RCA ports) to bluetooth speakers, headphones, and other devices cable of receiving bluetooth signals. The supported audio connections are 3.5mm audio pin, RCA jacks, and optical SPDIF cables. The Aluratek package includes everything you need to get started, and it is easy to setup. Simply pair you device with bluetooth receiver and connect the Aluratek wireless audio extender to your desired audio source. You will be able to enjoy high quality audio without latency at distances up to 100 feet. I recommend the Aluratek - Bluetooth Wireless Audio Extender. It is the perfect option for adding bluetooth to your audio solution without replacing your equipment and adding a lot of complexity.

I get home from work late and watch TV to decompress but my partner is a light sleeper and gets disturbed by the sound of the television. This is where the Aluratek Bluetooth Extender solves the problem - adding Bluetooth audio to any device including any TV. I have a few Aluratek products and have always like their simplicity, quality, and ease of use. Setup was straight forward. Aluratek always includes everything you need out of the box - every possible audio cable (AUX, RCA and optical). I used a spare USB port on the TV to power the Extender using the included micro USB cable. I took optical out from my TV to connect. Pairing took a little longer than I expected, you hold the Bluetooth button on the Aluratek and put your headphones into pairing mode. It took longer because I didn't have the RX/TX switch in the correct position. My fault, not Aluratek's. If you have this in bypass (my fault), you won't be able to pair. Audio quality is spot on, Bluetooth 5 is great. It also means I can watch TV, walk to the kitchen during an ad break, and know when to be back in front of the TV. So this Bluetooth range is exactly as promised. I'm giving it 4/5 because if you need a Bluetooth extender that supports optical, I haven't found anything else that offers these features and it's great to see Aluratek offer this capability. The only reason why I am saying I wouldn't recommend this to a friend is that "it depends". If you need optical to Bluetooth, AUX to Bluetooth and need long distance range, absolutely get this. You won't be disappointed. If you don't need optical and only need a shorter range, Aluratek's other transmitters may be a better fit for your needs. Either way, you can't go wrong with their products.

Just got my tester unit of the Aluratek Bluetooth Wireless Extender and this little fella was quite easy to setup and use. Inside the box along with the wireless extender is an optical cable, an audio cable, an RCA Y-cable, and a USB power cable. There's also a setup guide to show you how to connect everything. Set it to RX or TX to receive or transmit your sound and your ready to go. I had mine connected to my bluetooth headphones and my wireless speaker system. My favorite thing about this little box is the range in which it allows you to roam around the house. I was able to walk to my kitchen and out the front door without it cutting out like it normally would once I step beyond the 33 ft range. There was no static and everything was crystal clear. I also like how with it connected through to my TV I can listen to my shows without disturbing the rest of the house. Great for those of us who are night owls. Great device to use to extend your wireless bluetooth signals.

I had difficulty with the setup of this device initially. My 4K TV did not work with the antenna input mode, so it didn't work right away. I'm glad that I tried other inputs on my television such as players and other applications. The receiver comes with an optical cable and this is the connection that I went with. Be sure to set the television to use an external / optical output instead of the default speakers. Pairing my headsets was easy. This works well two headsets, so more than one person can use the wireless capabilities. I didn't notice much, if any latency. The sound is good and the range is very good. It will be nice having the ability to watch television when my wife is sleeping now with wireless headphone capabilities.

This Bluetooth receiver is very difficult to sync with my earbuds - both Apple Airpods and some Sony Bluetooth buds. In both sets I have a loud underlying buzzing noise that rarely goes away, no matter how I adjust the antennae or how close I sit to the receiver. If someone has any pointers on how to achieve a clear sound, that would be great.
