I was looking to get something to give me wireless sound from my TV. This does the trick. I've got a lot of great headphones and I knew it would be nice to hear my TV sound without disturbing everybody else in the house. This does the trick.

I needed a solution to be able to hear my TV while running on the treadmill. This solution was easy to connect to my TV and the sound is excellent. Very happy with this item.

I bought this so I could use a non-blue tooth Bose speaker I had previously paired with a blu-ray player using an optical audio connection. I had it up and working with my new iMac in less than five minutes. No lag with streaming movies, and the sound is superior to what I had experienced with the blu-ray player (I used the "small speaker" setting in the iMac sound settings, and that seemed to work best). Other reviews have commented on the quality of this product over less expensive models--I have no comparison, but what swayed my decision was the versatility of this unit. I can also use it with my older non-blue tooth stereo equipment instead of purchasing a new system that costs more and may not sound as good.

Just got this today. Being a techy-type, I thought I'd give setting up a shot without looking at the manual. (not recommended for all) Plugged into power source, plugged into the sound device. Pressed the Bluetooth connection on my headset and BOOM! All done in less than a minute. Then, I tried them using an Onkyo stereo receiver, which has a bit of a complicated setup. Same thing: Plugged into the RCA output and all set. The most common cables necessary are included, so you likely won't have to go out and get anything at the last minute. I live in an 1800 sq. ft. home and the connection was great everywhere, including the garage and an outdoor patio. This former sound tech recommends this receiver/transmitter.

This extender truly let me down since it was posed to be pretty easy to set up, plug in audio and get going. This was not the case and if I am honest I still can't figure out all the features that it shows on the packaging. I'm pretty tech savvy and I believe I can follow instructions fairly well but there is something missing here and I am bummed. I wanted to get my gaming headset to connect to my tv so that I wouldn't bother everyone with my Battle Royale sessions. Oh well I'll give it another try and if it does not work then I will keep searching. I wish this was an easy feat but alas it was not.

Yes I love. It works with all of my headphones. Easy to use, no problems at all.

It does the job, just wish it was easier to set up. Needed to add bluetooth to a TV. The affordable items were limited. This did it.My complaint is that it just was not that easy to set up.

It is difficult to pair with my ear buds, but I don't know if the problem is with the Aluratek transmitter or my ear buds.

It works fine. However, it accidentally got disconnected; and we had some difficulty reconnecting it to our LG TV.

I connected the device to my tv via optical cable. I paired a set of bluetooth headphones. I could not get the device to stream hulu or cable tv. It did not work for me. I tried all the settings. Finally just got fed up and disconnected it. I love the idea but if it did not work easily then it takes away the benefits.

The Aluratek - Bluetooth Wireless Audio Extender - Black did not work for me. I followed instructions completely, but could not get any audio transmission from my Fire TV to my Sony Bluetooth headset or my Bluetooth hub. Instructions claim that all Bluetooth devices will not work with the Aluratek - Bluetooth Wireless Audio Extender - Black. I guess my Bluetooth devices fit into that category.

Workes great the distance is way better then what you would get for bluetooth on a phone. A little trocky to sync with your bluetooth device

I liked the first Aluratek ABCD54F that I bought until it started to make a loud humming sound. The humming sound only started after several months of use. I called Aluratek tech support and they said it was defective. They sent a replacement, which worked fine for about 3-4 months - then the same humming sound that the original one had. I have since bought another brand transmitter.

Would only work with the same brand earbuds and would not connect to anything else. Gave up on it after fighting with it for a week.
