Not at all like any other Device we have. Completely unintuitive in its design and functions. So difficult to use that we returned it after a week.

Not at all what I wanted or expected. Misleading info on box. Very limited to what you can get. Now I just use it as a clock.

Only allows tuning thru Apps. Need to be able to tune individual stations by wifi signals. Not sufficient to my needs.

I thought it was going to be a great idea for my replacement alarm clock radio but pure junk. Got it out of the box and wouldn't even power on

I returned this item due to the poor craftsmanship and sound. Far more complex that necessary. I’ll stick with my UE and iPhone

The thing just wouldn't hold the wifi had to reset it over and over. Returned it. Thanks Best Buy...

I needed a device that would do one thing and do that one thing well: stream music from the internet over WiFi in rich sound. Period. This device fully met this requirement. I have a home office and must be connected continuously to the corporate VPN secure server -- no streaming services allowed on my PC. I picked this up a few days ago and have used it all day every day in that short time. The instructions are minimal which leaves you exploring the features of the device a bit. The battery came fully charged and I learned after a minute that the power button has two functions: a short press to see the battery status, and a press and hold (about a second) to actually boot it up. Once it powered up, the rest was a breeze. It quickly identified my WiFi (and all of my neighbors') and connection was without problems. After the initial set up (time, date, downloading desired streaming apps, etc.) I was listing to music in about 10 minutes. I read some reviews that claim the sound is "weak" or didn't meet their expectations. That is absolutely not the case for me. I guess if you expect this little $80 device to fill a gymnasium or sports arena with 130 decibels of live concert type sound, you're certain to be disappointed. It does a great job in my 20 x 20 office and easily matches my high end speakers and woofer connected to my PC. Kind of surprising given its size and price point. The only negative thing about this is the tiny touch screen, but not enough for me to knock it down to a 4. Its just an annoyance because I only need to use it a couple times a day to select music. Overall, I really love this device.

Got it home and was unable to get it to power up, was returned to the store.

Great streaming features, but the sound is like an old transistor radio.

I love this radio for my home office. I don't really care for the alarm feature as all I was looking for was a good sounding standalone speaker that I can stream my Spotify and Pandora. The setup was so simple in connecting to my WIFI then downloading all the music apps I wanted. Now I just stream my favorite tunes without tying up my smartphone.

I really wanted to like this radio. It was working ok, until it can't see ANY WiFI. so now it's WORTHLESS. Decent sound quality but was not as nice as the 4-5 year old gracenote it was replacing. This Aluratek would loose signal occasionally, and then it required manual intervention to get it to reconnect... I work from home and am on the phone alot, so this is more for background noise between calls. A mute function would have been nice. The touch screen is slow and laggy and would occasionally freeze up, battery life wasn't bad, but when the only way to reset it when frozen was to let it die, or press the reset button on the bottom which makes you totally start over, which isn't cool. I'll stick with an old droid cell phone... that is WAY more advanced than this pile and it still works!!! Don't buy this pile of parts pretending to be an internet radio.
