So far so good . Paired up and stayed paired after turning the car key off. Trying to get around using cords however it only helps some because it has to be recharged and has old school plug . That plug is a draw back if you want to swap your phone c cord to charge. It will work with anything audio and has an aux plug. Like an outdated sound bar of which I have 3.

I wanted to connect my iPhone 7 to my cars audio via Bluetooth. This connected easily and allows me to connect multiple devices. Great solution. Battery remains charged, so device usually connects automatically. The locations of the plugs weren't optimal, but still functional.

Works well and the battery does last a while when using it in a car. Audio also sounds great when transmitting from my Galaxy S10e. Only Con I see is the fact that you have to turn it on and off constantly. There is no standby or sleep mode, so you have to remember to take it off or the battery will drop to about 40%if you leave it for 5 hours. In terms of price, I got this on sale with 50% off. So paying full price, I would probably scroll pass this, however if it is on sale, it is quite worth it.

Does a good job of making my old amplifier be Bluetooth ready. Just what I was looking for. I had plugged in an Iphone 4s into my amplifier directly and it only played the music and not the singing. This unit made it sound much clearer and it was in true stereo with my speakers.

Great product. Works just as I wanted. I use this with my receiver to pair my tablet or phone in my office while I work. The range is accurate and the product works just as expected. It almost always pairs automatically when i bring the tablet in the office for ease of use.

Bought to play music from an old Bose system that doesn't have Bluetooth in it. Easy way to connect, took a few minutes to connect devices to iPod. Inexpensive but does the job, can now stream my music from iPod to Bose system. Recommend by a sales associate

Simple little bluetooth adapter - I used this to add bluetooth capability to my boats old receiver. Worked just as it should and connects easily. Ended up upgrading my boat stereo system shortly after purchasing so I don't have a use for it anymore.

I have an older vehicle w/o built in Bluetooth technology & needed a way to connect my new iphone 7 plus without wires hanging all over my truck. My iphone automatically pairs with the device when I enter my truck & the sound is AWESOME!!! it also works great in any situation & comes with an RCA stereo cord. I RECOMMEND THIS DEVICE TO EVERYBODY.!!!!!!!!

I love this little thing. I used to have an annoying long aux cord I had to store in my car, now this guy sits in the glove box and all I have to do is charge it every couple days while I'm driving. Extremely handy to just flip on Bluetooth and have audio. Also if a friend wants to play music they simply pair with the device and they can play whatever. Only reason for four stars is because the charging end that plugs into the device is very flimsy and will break if you pull on it or push it around. So it basically has to just be tucked away in a good spot.

I just upgraded to an iPhone 6 and could no longer use the cabling in my car I used for my iPhone 4S. I went out in search of a Lightning connector to 3.5mm phone plug and was getting no where fast. The adaptor for Lightning to 30 pin didn't work with my phone case. Anyway, then I saw the Aluratek iStream Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver. It was on sale for $25 and I had Rewards money to boot. Anyway, this thing works great. Syncs to my phone quickly, has great sound and great battery life! If you have an older car with a 3.5mm jack this is your way to streaming music from your phone!

Excellent for adding Bluetooth to a car audio system that has a 3.5mm stereo input jack. This device can also be used for a home stereo to add Bluetooth as well. No need to plug in your device each time.

I use this to play my iPhone music on my home theater sound system. It works well and is easy to use. The charger plug is really tight, and when I have it plugged in I get feedback whey playing music. However, when unplugged the music is clear.

As a music lover this is a must for me ! Love not having to have my iPhone attached to my portable Bose stereo that we use outdoor. Has a great range of Bluetooth reception. It's chargeable so not having to have to worry about an outlet to plug in is a great advantage for me since we mostly use it outdoor and in my truck which also was not Bluetooth capable. I can now listen to music in my truck without having a cord attached to my phone. Makes it great if youre riding in back seat and want to still have access to your phone while still listening to music. Love this product !

The best part about the Aluratek is that you can charge it while using it. Simply take it out of the box, plug it into a usb > AC adapter (not included) and plug the stereo jack into the input of the audio device you want your bluetooth device to play from. Quality is high and I have yet to experience any signal loss due to distance between the paired devices. It seemed to take a while to get pairing accomplished (not sure why) but once I did everything was good to go. The on/off button is a bit odd, but once you are connected a female voice audibly informs you that the devices are paired. Overall, pleased with the purchase.

This device works very well for what it does, and it certainly brings some unusual capabilities to your audio componentry. With this device, bluetooth audio can played through an audio device that does not itself have bluetooth capability so long as the device has audio input jacks of some kind. So you could, for example, play the audio from your smartphone's playlist through the speakers of your vintage audio receiver. This Aluratek receiver connects either with RCA jacks or a 3.5 mm mini-plug to the audio input of the audio receiver, and the audio can be heard through the receiver's speakers. I've listened to youtube audio streaming by bluetooth from my smartphone to this receiver which was connected to the Marantz receiver I bought in 1979 which was in turn connected to Advent speakers I bought in 1974. All-in-all, it worked very well, and I like being able to keep using my vintage audio equipment.

This is a nice little Audio receiver. Has a long lasting battery and it is very easy to use. Great connection, great sound.
