For the $20 price tag this is a good alternative to the $300 it would take to hardware bluetooth in my car. The signa from my phone/ iPod is clear with no static. Syncing is a snap. Since the device is so small it is unobtrusive. You'd never know its there. What improvements would I make? 1) a battery meter on the paired device 2) an indicator of when the device battery is charged and ready to go.

I bought it as a small gift for my husband on father's day to make his car Bluetooth. It works just as expected and he can be completely hands free in the car for music or phone calls. The setup was very easy and his phone automatically connects when everything is on. Great purchase

The bluetooth device works pretty well connecting to my iTouch. It would be nice if there was a separate on/off switch, but that is just me. The device goes into standby mode after 2 minutes of no connection. I have not tried to see how long it takes to drain the battery though. Otherwise, decent product to use.

My factory radio has a aux port but no Bluetooth and I hate having the cords dangling all over the place. I was able to use Velcro and mount this and have my phone where I have my mount and no wires. Glad I purchased it. Some day I’ll buy a better radio

This thing works great! I wasn't very hopeful when it was recommended to me, but I was wrong. It has good range, and plays my favorite music all day! It solved my connection problem at a great price.

I use this to connect my outdoor speakers to my stereo system in my living room. My cellphone connects easily to the Bluetooth receiver and holds the connection really well. I'd say you get about 30 feet of range before the signal degrades. The sound quality is good too!

[Employee of bestbuy] The sound quality was accurate and it had really low latency, but the fact it dangled out of the aux jack was not something i enjoyed

I love this Bluetooth Transmitter! It is very easy to hook up and the sound quality is not compromised. The only thing that stinks is having to connect the device each time, it doesn't connect automatically. Overall a great device though!

Used this on my Harley Davidson motorcycle radio to Bluetooth my Samsung S5 Note cellphone through the speakers and in my trucks radio. Works and sounds great. Can't get a good reception on the road with your radio, plug this baby in an listen to whatever you have on your cell, PANDORA, K-Love etc.

This unit works pretty well replacing the cord from an iPhone to a stereo receiver. It paired up quickly and held the signal most of a day. It kept the signal from the adjacent bedroom and barely lost contact for an instant while moving from the bedroom back to the living room, with a distance of approximately 15 feet from the stereo receiver. Sound quality is very good and is more dependent upon the speakers involved.

The Aluratek is the only battery-operated item I've ever seen that gives a charge which lasts longer than it took to charge the battery. Charge it for about 45 minutes via a micro-usb cable (the same as most android phones), and the built-in battery lasts for hours. The Aluratek is about the size of a matchbook. It has a power button. Very sturdy. It has one drawback for me: the 3.5mm phone connector cable is permanently attached to the receiver, and is too short- about 4 inches long. If I could design it myself, I would put a 3.5mm jack into the side of the Aluratek, and I could use any length of 3.5mm cord I want. Plus, when the cord goes out on this unit (cords do that), the whole unit will need to be replaced.

I bought this out of need because the Aluratek transmitter could not pair with my OEM infotainment system in my 2015 Chevy Tahoe. But that's another review. It works as advertised and the sound is even better than the 1/8" cord I was using to connect my rear seat DVD entertainment system. The on board FM interface with the RSE DVD was limited to just a few stations and I was tired of having to connect and disconnect the 1/8" audio cable to the auxilliary input in the dash. The receiver is easy to operate, pair and has good battery life and can operate while charging. I've used it outside of my car and streamed music from my phone to my DJ system for a quick backyard party when I didn't want to connect my MacBook and USB controller. Range is pretty good, too, but not 33 feet like they claim.

I bought this on impulse when I saw it on the end cap of an isle. I needed something like this to add bluetooth to an AVR that did not have bluetooth or airplay. It was easy to pair, the music quality sounds good, and I can be a good distance from the device and it maintains the connection.

I purchased this in the effort to add Blue tooth capability to my older Bose surround sound. I previously was Airplaying my iPhone to the system through my Apple TV and out to the Bose system. Catch was I had to have the TV on. With the adapter I not stream the iTunes/iPhone direct to the Bose input and only need that powered on. It's a temporary solution but for the cost of a solution was pretty painless with the iStream.
