I needed to find a way to bluetooth music to my car stereo. This product is better than expected my phone plus three others have been able to connect. It works really well. For a small device it works well.

It works great after I contacted tech support at Aluratek. The instructions were simple to connect it to my headphones. They just did not include one last step. Switch it to TX MODE. It connected to my headphones instantly. Works great now and the range is great.

The charger cable didn't work. Fortunately for me, I already had an adapter that worked. Then again, what can you expect? You get what you pay for. Sound has more high range (treble) than a direct cable connection. On/off/pairing button requires effort and aim to get the unit to respond to commands. This only works with media audio, not phone audio. Probably because it doesn't have a built in mic like some BT dongles. Sounds good enough. Very loud with my setup. I've had this unit for about seven hours and this is what I've noticed so far. It doesn't do everything, but it works for streaming music in the car. I would have given it a better rating if the charging cable actually worked! The charging input is 5vdc and center pin +. In case you have lots of wall warts laying around. Very small plug. I don't know the dimensions.

Bought this to pair with a Denon AVR-E300 receiver since the receiver only pairs with airplay and wifey has Droid. Worked well once and did as I expected. The only issue is that it states you can pair up to six devices............NOT... only 1 at a time. But, serves it purpose for my needs.

I've used a few other BT receivers in the past and this one takes the cake! Virtually transparent sound, nearly as good as using a direct wire patch cable! Only had a couple days, so I have yet to evaluate battery life, but if it makes it 8-10hrs, that would be ok. You can supply charge power even while it's running too. The only problem I see is that the short skinny little wire on it is very fragile, and a good tug could render the whole thing trash. Overall, very impressed.

decent sound, great price but the range isnt great. I was 10ft away and it was skipping going in and out. only one device can be connected at once.

This device performance is amazing. The only defect is that it will only last about 5 months. After this period of time the device will start to fail. It will ether not connect or turn on at all.

I bought this about 2 years ago. I have used it both in my garage and living room. Great sound quality. I haven't had any issues as of yet. I used this for my friends wedding reception to stream music to the music system. Now I need to buy a second one because my wife wants me to leave it set up in the house. So now I need one I can leave in the garage (Man Cave). Would definitely recommend this item to someone else!!!!

Just bought this and plugged it into my tv to connect my Bluetooth wireless headphones I already had(JBL Synchros). Works great. Took me a couple minutes to figure out the right way to connect, wasn't pressing power button long enough to get the flashing blue and red alternately. Needed this to listen to tv when my wife wants it quiet studying for school, since we are living in a studio and I didn't want a cable from my headphones all the way to tv. I even went upstairs about 30 or more feet and still had a signal. Not sure why this isn't more popular, Best Buy only had one option, our Walmart didn't stock any, and Target doesn't sell it at all. There are cheaper brands sold on Internet, but if you've bought poor electronics products from Amazon like me, just get it this one from Best Buy and you'll be set.

Bought this to replace a similar model I had connected to my car aux port. This product works as it should. No complaints.

Sound quality is good. Easy to set up and it is as easy as pushing a power button to use.

This product worked slick to send an audio signal from my SiriusXM docking station (Onyx EZ Radio) to a Bluetooth speaker. Now I have portable SiriusXM radio for tailgating and camping... very pleased... Took a while to connect... I turned off my phone to limit the number of devices being searched by the speaker... not sure if that was the issue... but it seemed to work...

This product was awesome the last 3 months but just recently when I went to charge the device, I couldn't pair it with my iPhone. Called the company and they said it was defective... Returned to best buy today but no more in stock. Hopefully the next one I get isn't defective because I thought it worked well.

Good product if you are only using it for long trips under 3 hours in duration. Otherwise it is quite cumbersome to use since you have to power on the device (approx. 10 seconds) and power down the device (approx. 10 seconds) in order to preserve battery life. would be an amazing product if it turned on and off with the vehicle. Other than that the product is great and works well when phone calls come into the cars bluetooth system.

Forget using an aux cord, buy this device! The quality of this far surpasses that of just connecting an aux cord from your phone to your radio

The product seems to be functionally adequate upon plugging it into my car stereo. The problem I saw initially is the flimsy AUX cable attached to the device. I don't see it lasting very long. The underlying issue I have with the device is the sound quality is rather poor. The signal to noise ratio seems to be very high on the noise side. The music I usually use to tune up a new system sounded somewhat tinny but of course with only bass, mid & high to adjust its almost impossible to remove the noise. I did sort of find a sweet spot with less noise by pulling back the volume on my iPhone to about 75% and increasing the volume on my car stereo. But there is still a lot of background noise and a slight hiss. Overall, a decently convenient product for $30 and for someone who wouldn't be able to catch the noise with their ears and needs to connect their phone to a stereo without cables. Update: As I'm writing this review I'm also noticing some "skipping" in my music. A brief cutout, upon playback, is no longer there. This leads me to believe it is another issue with the device.

I bought this to preserve a $1,800 investment in a Bose Acoustimass system. Like many, I'm living on bluetooth these days as Bluetooth have finally improved. Well done Aluratek - now my friends are asking about this little widget too, from a variety of global places I might add. The Aluratek provides immediate connection with a strong signal and my devices find it instantly. The built in battery stinks and we could all pay $5 more but why would we? It's great as is. Thanks for not being so proprietary and thanks for working better than expected. (note to file: Micrisoft and Apple)

Very easy to use - unfortunately it does not accept input through the RCA plug and transmit out via bluetooth!
