    I originally set out to buy one of those adapters that stay plugged in. They didn't have what I was looking for and this was the only one they had. The device works great. The only problem is that after it dies in order to recharge it you need to carry around a plug to connect to a USB port. This is what makes it inconvenient.

    When I first got this to connect my Echo Show to a 20 year old Bose system so I could stream music I was so excited. Now, not so much. The unit experiences a lot of connectivity issues that are very frustrating because nothing has changed in the set up from working flawlessly to complete aggravation.

    The Aluratek device works great with my receiver. I wish it had an auto shutoff feature when not in use to prevent battery drain.
