Good video and lighting

Sound quality is good but does pick up a lot of ambient sound (low roar of air conditioning in my office, etc) and is not easily filtered, so I've used a separate Snowball microphone that I have with it for now. I'm going to have to look into that more as I hope that can be resolved.

I use it exclusively for work meetings, as I work remote from home. The first time I used it, my boss commented immediately home much clearer it was over what I was previously using. That affirmed my purchase. When not using it, I just unplug it, so having a cover is not important. Clear picture, great audio, I recommend this device.

Good Webcam with built in lighting at moderate $

It was plug and play in my Windows 10 machine. This camera is adequate for all but the most sophisticated user. The light control is just below the camera. Settings are: Off; Low; Medium and High light levels and using it will help you decide which one is best for you and your environment.
