Pretty simple— leave it plugged into the USB port for whenever you need it. You may have to select the camera, since the default may not be the external camera if you already have one on your laptop.

Excellent product that is easy to use and provides excellent video quality. Have used it with both Windows 10 and older Windows versions, and they are all compatible. Product was well-packaged.

This external camera and mic is the real deal. It’s a must buy if you are considering. The quality is very good, it’s durable and the mic functions better than other brands I have tried.

Great product for a great price point. Makes video communication better not only with the clear camera but also being at a more flattering angle (above instead of below the face).

I needed a camera for Zoom meetings and I liked that this one had an adjustable ring light. It is easy to attach to your monitor and adjust the light. I would definitely purchase again.

didn’t work with my xbox but works great with OBS & Pc. the ring light is hella hella helpful and you get what you pay for.

good camera for a computer and has a light for dark photos or videos. Cant ask for more in a web cam for a computer. they need to bring them back

Does very well. The light surround is nice to have for zoom calls but I don’t think it would be the quality light you’d want for streaming.

High quality video. Wider angle than most other cameras. Built-in light is a nice feature… not that bright but it helps. Got it on sale which adds to the value component.

I purchased this webcam for recording speeches in a public speaking class I am taking for university. While I like that this webcam works well enough for less than ideal filming conditions, this fact is outweighed by my constant need to force the camera back into focus. This camera loses focus with no rhyme or reason, and had me reaching out toward it to regain focus while filming my last speech, a move that was questioned by my peers. Perhaps more egregious than the loss of focus at seemingly random intervals is the fact that the microphone simply does not appear to work at all. When filming my speeches, I found I needed to use a pair of gaming headphones to record any sound, despite the webcam advertising it has a microphone and despite my inputs and outputs being properly configured. I will be purchasing a different webcam and I advise others to do so as well.

I have used this for a couple job interviews and it has sounded good. The quality of the webcam works perfectly fine for this type of application. I am pleased with the purchase.

Its ok if you have nothing at all to use. I do like the options of light intensity, however it does not seem to broadcast in 1080 as it advertises.

Good camera. I like the built in ring light. Easy to use. Mini tripod is best setup. Kind of clips on top of monitor (not a rock solid grip). I’d give it 5 starts if the monitor clip on was better.

Use it for work. It worked with only plugging it into a Windows 10 Pro machine without issues or downloads. Purchased for a steeply discounted price from a “Deal of the Day”.

I purchased this webcam along with a headset for Zoom meeting for work and gaming. I like this webcam that comes with ring light for some brightness in a darker room setting or at evening calls.

It’s a very good camera at a decent price point. A major plus is the built-in light which enhances video quality. It’s pretty much a plug and play affair,And mouse effortlessly to your monitor.

Decent webcam. The light didn't do much for me, but was using it in a fairly well-lit area, but did help a little to combat some shadowing on my face from primarily overhead lights. Purchased on sale during pandemic when most products were in short supply and/or overpriced, ended up replacing it with a slightly higher end product that better suited my needs in the end, but overall very functional camera.

well, the 'ring light' isn't required, as it can turn on by itself, but it works. i used for my class and exam, and it works. the ring light is hard to get used to.
