Pros: The image is alright. The auto focus works generally. Cons: The image is really grainy for me. Everything always look a little bit blurry. The auto focus is slow and doesn't truly focus at times. It's so dang bright. The base settings made me look like a cloud with any amount of light on. I had to wait until it starting getting dark out before I was not purely white. And to answer the question of "why don't you just turn the settings down?" It doesn't help, you always will look washed out in a well lit room, it has to be dimly lit for the camera to look any kind of good. The "2k" doesn't really look like "2k". It's a pretty whatever picture and the 60 fps doesn't look very good either. Basically no software support from Aluratek. This webcam is a piece of work. I've had it for at least a year now, and while it's better than no webcam, the thing has frustrated me for months with how bright the image is, and how grainy it looks when it is actually dark enough to see you. If you are like me and you saw this for a huge discount and thought it's definitely good for the price, it really isn't. TLDR: The image isn't very good, too bright, too grainy. Bad software. Works, but look elsewhere. I just bought the Anker PowerConf C200 for $50 and it's so so so so much better. I didn't realize how bad I had it until I got the Anker one. Check that one out or really any of the Logitech ones under $50 and they'll probably look at good, if not better, than this Aluratek trash.

The camera has good quality and works well with my computer but the only complaint i have with it is that the auto focus constantly goes if you get even a tiny bit too close to the camera

This webcam works well. The microphone picks up sound well and the only thing it might struggle with is staying focused. However, the quality of the picture is very good.

Replaced a Logitech camera I purchased for $150 about 7 months ago that never worked correctly (always was out of focus). While I'm not sure if it's 2k quality, it is a clear picture and I haven't had any camera issues on any web calls since. I don't use the mic function so can't speak to it's quality.

I bought this webcam with high expectations. The spes looked good. It was easy to install, but that is where the good ended. Picture quality was fair, with color balance that often shifted. Focus was pretty good, but it often blurred. This webcam had a pretty high price and if Aluratek was trying to mimic one of the leading brands, they fell quite short. At half the price it would fit into its proper range of competition

Mic is AWFUL - auto focus annoying. Go elsewhere!

The video quality is pretty good, but the auto focus re-focuses repeatedly and hardly ever lands on my face. Not worth the function of an auto focus tbh. The worst part is...the mic doesn't work about half of the time. I have to say "can you hear me?" about 10 times before it realizes I'm talking. Terrible - embarrassing for work meetings! It also doesn't attach to your monitor...it just balances on top, so it's super hard to even keep in one place. Terrible design. I gave it a few months before rating it because I thought maybe I could salvage it or figure it out....nope. Waste of money.

Jumpy autofocus, microphone not sensitive enough

I'm happy with the video quality, but the autofocus is way to jumpy. If I'm just sitting still in the middle of the picture, the autofocus regularly jumps around (1-2x a minute), causing the image to slightly jump (ie., almost like slightly zooming in/out for a split second). The room is well lit, so this is not a low light problem. Definitely annoying. From a microphone standpoint, don't bother. It seems to have really low sensitivity and people can barely hear me (this is with microphone volume turned up to 100% in windows settings). If I switch to the laptop microphone, I come in crystal clear. I don't know if I just have a bad one, or if this is just the way this unit works... but I'm taking it back.

The camera works okay. The auto focus has a hard time differentiating between subject and background and will snap in and out of focus with any kind of movement. We bought this to use with our Mac Mini. There are no Mac drivers for this so there is no way to control the camera.

    Overpriced Webcam with Terrible Microphone

This is the review you need to read. Look at all the other 1 star reviews. Not impressed when i opened it out of the box, uses old usb technology. Looks and feels cheap holding it. Plugged it in and the camera did anything but impressed me. The auto focus was an amusement because my previous webcam didn't feature it. At least my Logitech webcam was fully functional. Microphone problems was the last thing i thought that would be an issue for a product marked $130. No one can hear me on zoom. I now realize why theres two because if there was only one i don't think the lord above would even hear you. Returning this promptly and going with logitech. Do not ever stray away from Logitech, they will never let you down. Aluratek will let you down. Worst product I have ever purchased for the pandemic. I actually would want compensation for the inconvenience this caused over zoom since a feature as basic as a microphone failed to work. Bottom Line: If I haven't conveyed to you yet how much I hate this product here it is. If you are thinking about buying it, go away. You are in the wrong place. Go logitech! they even spell tech right.

This webcam is meeting my needs for a second office in the house when multiple people are working from home. The only issue is that it keeps focusing over and over. So the person watching keeps seeing the webcam focus in and out repeatedly.

I understand that Webcam's are in short supply, and Logitech can't seem to catch-up, but this camera is terrible even it it were free. Used it on a day of Zoom and Webex meetings and everyone had trouble hearing (crappy mic), and it was not focus ready, nor zoom ready. For the price ($129.00) such options should be onboard. I returned it for a cheery (always the case at BestBuy!) refund, and will wait for manufacturing to catch up at Logitech before buying another hi end webcam...disappointing...but my old "steam powered" Logitech Orbit will have to last a while longer.

I like this camera. The sharpness is amazing BUT it keep constantly refocusing and focusing. Can anyone help me figure out how to have it just focus one and stay?
