This product works ok for normal purposes. This product is hmdi over wifi, which has substantial lag. I’m sure it’ll be ok for a movie, but not very good for gaming or any need that requires input. This also has limited range. It would be nice if you didn’t need a separate power supply as well.

Originally had issues with having this connect between my server and monitor, but realized that it was my GPU that had a faulty hdmi port.
Works great with adapter (HDMI to DP) on my faulty 980.
Works excellent with my new server gpu (GT710).

This device is not ready for retail sale. It connected 10' away for about 5 minutes and then quit working. We were never able to get it to connect again. We returned it and purchased a wired device.

The Aluratek Streamcast Wireless HDMI to HDMI sounded like a great solution for connecting my laptop to my TV without messy cables. Unfortunately, the advertised 100-foot range is wildly misleading—this device barely functions beyond 10 feet. Worse, any nearby electronics using signals (phones, tablets, etc.) interfere so much that it becomes unreliable. While it technically "works," the limitations make it impractical for most setups. Disappointing for the price.

They do not list compatible devices anywhere and their customer service is so SO incredibly poor that even after contacting them they will not tell you what is compatible or not, you've just gotta play a guessing game. Bought two but had to return one as I found out after hours of power cycling the devices that the issue was compatibility (other device connected after a few power cycles no issue). Word of caution, if you've successfully set it up and it's showing a blank screen, then it's not compatible.
