mic does not work brand new

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is now April 16th 2022, purchase this wireless headset in September 2021, was going to give as a gift, but it remained intact unused till today 4/16/22. blue-tooth connected great I could hear other caller great, the mic no work, repeated the call several times just in case, mic still no work. So out of the box mic no works, dumb luck I guess.
