    The movie did change some of the dynamics between the Chipmunks. Overall it was a nice change. It was good to see everybody doing things they normally wouldn't do.

    Maybe the kids of today's generation will enjoy this movie. For me... it ruined my childhood lol This is definitely not how I remember the Chipmunks!

    Picked up the DVD of this movie in store for my 4yr old. Put it right back when saw this combo DVD/BluRay for just a small bit more. DEAL This movie has entertained my 4yr old on numerous occasions and do not regret the purchase. But it does seem to be a bit stale this time around with the chipmunks having a spat with Dave and then in getting rescued by him learning a big loving family lesson.

    This is a funny movie, but nothing compared to Disney / Pixar kids movies. The best parts are the songs.
