Great children's movie! Graphics and live interaction was great

My 4 year old daughter loves this movie! Great movie for kids

We try to buy only movies with digital copies so we were very disappointed by this. The digital copy sounds like it was recorded in a tin can. It's awful. We have tried on tv, iPad, phone etc and none sound any better.

I bought this for grandkids and they've enjoyed it

This film teaches important lessons to children in a gentle and very entertaining way. Chip monks lessons learned are Discipline is important, Anything in excess, even fun, can ruin your life, being in the Spotlight may seem glamorous, can be harmful and stable family life is more important. Dads are important role models for young sons. Alvin and his companions Simon and Theodore learn these lessons from their surrogate father Dave and from the hard knocks they endure as they leave Dave and rise to recording stardom. Seldom have I seen such an entertaining film spell out such excellent values for young children.

I RENTED THIS MOVIE FROM BLOCKBUSTER OVER THE WEEKEND AND I WAS ACTUALLY SHOCKED BECAUSE THE MOVIE WAS VERY GOOD. AS A CHILD I GREW UP ON ALVIN AND THE CHIMPMUNKS, I HAD CD COLLECTIONS AND TO FINALLY GET TO WITNESS IT IN REAL FILM WAS AMAZING. THIS MOVIE IS TRULY A FAMILY ORIENTED MOVIE, IT NEVER GETS BOARING AND ITS SOMETHING ADULTS CAN WATCH WITH THERE CHILDREN AND NOT FALL ASLEEP. I AM NOW GOING TO BUY THE MOVIE TO KEEP WATCHING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS MOVIE YOU NEED TO GO GET IT AND ADD IT TO THE MOVIE COLLECTION.

Growing up in the 80's when The Chipmunks first hit the scene I was a fan from the beginning. I saw this movie about 2 months ago and i am almost 30! I found myself loving it all over again. Laughing out loud, stuck to the screen, feeling sad when the Chipmunks had it bad and then i bought it. Seen it 5-6 times now. This movie just makes me feel good! It'll make you feel good too! Watch this!

We bought the movie without having seen it previously and I watched with the kids. They were completely awed and remained still and quiet for the entire movie(*which can be difficult for 4 y/o boys). The insisted on taking it to watch with their dad when we got to go see him and also sat completely still and watched it with him. My oldest is also repeating lines and asking for more chipmunks.

for those of us old enough to actually remember the ORIGINAL Alvin and the Chipmunks this really brings you back. It's a fun movie, and quite entertaining. The Blu-Ray version is so much more clear then the regular dvd version. I also like how in the extra's they give a history of how the chipmunks came to be, and honors the man responsible for them.

Watched this with my younger teenage daughter and thought it might be similar torture as the previous Alvin's(where you just want to turn off the sound). But it was really an awesome remake, very cute and lifelike munks!! So much better than the originals especially in the sound department. Also a few different twists to the story line. Great Movie!!!

My kids, 7 and 4, love this movie. They love the songs, and think the chipmunks are super cool. It's not a bad movie, if you can get past some of the completely unbelievable scenes (like Dave throwing away his entire recording equipment out into the yard). And although I like Jason Lee (am a big fan of My Name is Earl), I don't think he was the right choice at all for Dave. BUT, it's for kids...

I took my son on his 12th birthday to see this and it was very entertaining for both of us. There were alot of adults at the theater with kids ranging in age from about 3 and up. Most everyone there seemed to enjoy it and the length of 91 minutes did not drag it out. I recommend it for everyone

This is a great movie. I grew up on this for the past 25 years and it never gets boring. Just that its to bad that they didn't explain how everything happen in the movie. But, overall it's great for family time when you need it.

I just love that I was able to purchase Alvin and The Chipmunks in Blu-Ray. The quality is so amazing and makes you only want to watch movies in Blu-Ray. I enjoyed this movie much more because of its high quality picture.

Did not know what to expect from this film, but my Daughter loves the Chipmunks now so I was forced to buy it. By the end of the film I think I enjoyed it just as much as she did. Great film for both kids an parents alike!

My 2 almost 5 year old boys love this movie. They love the music and are even repeating some of the catch phrases. They generally prefer cartoons vs. movies with real people, but this one was a huge hit!

My daughter wanted the movie and she had the other movies of the Chipmunks and she wanted the first one. I liked the songs that were sung in the movie and I think the chipmunks are cute.

This movie was pretty good. My wife and I liked it, and our little girl loved it. It had tons of funny scenes. Alvin, Simon, and Theodore were hilarious. And, Jason Lee did a good job in his role.

I got his movie because my son is a big fanatic of Alvin. We bought the movie and added it to our account on our tablet and now he can watch it in the car.

i didn't think this movie would be as good as it was and as funny. i borrowed it from a friend and i had to go buy it for myself. this movie was so cute and once again really funny. go buy it!
