Very consistent and even in baking while the cooktop can boil water in minutes! I would have given it 5-stars however they could have made the bottom drawer a bit sturdier. We have not had any problems but our cast iron pans definitely push it to the limit.

Only thing I don’t like and didn’t notice when I bought it is the large burners are only 8 inches. Most of my large pans are 10 inches so takes longer to heat up. Bought a couple new pans and problem solved.
