I added 5 year insurance. I called best buy ( waited over hour to be transfer to Amana company saying i had 1 year warranty) they brought someone today for nothing this person didn't even check he just said is the outlet. (how is the outlet if i been coking the the old one perfectly fine )

This is the worse purchase I have made and I do regret purchasing this stove. Also the eyes are too little. Very cheaply put together stove! Shame on Amana!!

Doesn't heat

The bottom broiler door is cheap and thin. Range burners do not heat well. It takes nearly 15-20 minutes to boil a pot of water and don't even try to pan fry foods it'll take forever.

Spend more money and get a better oven

Cheap quality Terrible oven, food either comes out overcooked or raw. Don't buy it obviously $500.00 is not enough for an oven.

We bought ours because it was assembled in the USA, which made us think it would be more durable. We had ours for less than two years and one of the burners suddenly stopped working. We have taken excellent care of it. Nothing was spilled or dropped on it. It just stopped working while we were making dinner. If you absolutely must buy it, be sure to get a protection plan, because the odds are good it will not last much beyond the one-year limited warranty.

poor design - don't use the oven in summer .

(no big problem here) But poor design. don't think they even tested the design . poor insulation. Oven heats up range top . Today, the steel pot sitting on the range burnt my finger , with oven roasting sweet potatoes. Display - aweful. Small letters, bad display design. Any old oven designs are easier to read. Talk about poor design - they put the Amana brand tag at the bottom of the oven door. Expect us to knell in front of the Amana just to be able to read the letters??

Once cooled off tried to clean it and the area wouldn’t come off. Very cheaply made
