Good Purchase

Great Remote to use with Fire TV

Just didn't work

I tried different batteries I used my iPad to do the switch and it refused to connect. I tried for 3 days to link it. So frustrating I have a fire tv that I bought from best buy the year before so just wanted a replacement remote apparently replacement remotes don't work this isn't the first time I have failed to connect a replacement remote. My iPad however connected easily with no issues. Returned this item. Don't know what or when my refund will be since I used my best buy credit card paid extra for fast shipping to have it not work on Christmas, and my card only had this charge on it and I paid it off. I wish there was a sensor on BestBuy's website that said or asked me if the remote is for the same tv I bought to just confirm I had the right one but I don't know why it won't work.
