When you open the cover, the Kindle automatically “wakes up”, and when you close the cover, the Kindle’s screen turns off. All edges of the device are protected by this case.

Kindle cover

I tried two different sizes at a Best Buy store but neither one of them fit. The cover was a very hard surface. I was looking for a softer leather material. I ended up ordering on-line and got another cover.

Love my case

Decided to purchase the same cover, but in black for my husband. I have dropped this case so many times and as of yet haven't damaged my kindle. The case is really strong and light and the kindle looks really sharp inside. Also this case is easy to clean.

This case was perfect. It gives just the right amount of coverage and protection without being bulky.

Exact Fit

Unlike a lot of folio covers with a slot with this cover the Kindle snaps into a tray. The fit is pretty snug so if you plan to take your kindle out frequently I recommend a folio cover. The magnetic cover works to automatically turn the Kindle screen on and off.
