The Echo system is convenient and is a simple way to add AI into your day to day while incorporating existing audio equipment. That being said, the Subwoofer is geared at adding to the audio quality of the Echo group and the speakers will simply never compete with a quality audio system. The bass was sloppy and weak, and completely unnecessary.

Bass so wimpy you will wonder if its even working

I'm hesitant to even call it a sub. When paired with the echo studios it produces ok sound but I am not sure if its really even worth the price or effort to set it up. You are probably better off saving your money and just going without bass. On the plus side it was easy to pair with the echo studios.

The sub volume is turned all the way up, the low is up in the equalizer, i dont know what else to do. I didnt install it right away and by te time i did the return time had passed. But if this is the way its supposed to be, dont buy one.

Pointless except for niche situations

Since it doesn't play music you end up with Alexa playing your music as one volume with a strong thumping bass that doesn't go with it unless you really like heavy bass music. It is very high quality, it is only about 2 feet tall but weights over 10 lbs.

I went to stream music about a month later and it was totally dead. It will not work at all no light no sound. Do not purchase this product you will be disappointed. And of course no returns it’s been more than 14 days.
