Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the impressive sound quality and awesome bass of the Echo Sub Subwoofer, especially considering its small size and ease of use. The design is also well-received for blending in well. However, some customers have experienced connectivity issues and compatibility problems. Additionally, a few customers find the voice-controlled volume adjustment to be less than ideal.

Nice addition to my Echo Studios
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I added this to my 2 Echo Studio setup as the bass wasn't quite up to the task. The Echo Sub added a fullness to my setup that wasn't there before. I use my Echo setup for a home entertainment system in conjunction with a Fire TV cube. The Dolby Atmos does work pretty well and all in all, it's a pretty nice setup. The Sub was a big help in the lower frequency department. Cons: Amazon MUST put in a software fix that allows the Sub volume to be controlled independently of the Studios.

Great sound from echo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t have any issues connecting it to my echo that others have reported. It has great sound. I was actually surprised how much bass comes from this thing. Makes music sound great. I’ve only tried it with Amazon Music as that’s the only music streaming service I really use. Only things I do not like is that you can’t connect it to two different echos. I have the 1st gen show in my living room and the 2nd gen show in my kitchen. I have it set up to play downstairs audio group. Well now the one in the kitchen doesn’t play when I use the audio group downstairs because it’s a different model echo. They have to be the same model. One other issue I have now is you can’t say “ Alexa stop” to stop playing music. I don’t know what’s causing that. Hopefully they fix the issue with a software update. You have to swipe on the screen and manually stop the music.

Great speakers set up via app disappointing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speakers self adjusting to room acoustics in great room with cathedral ceilings are great. Balancing audio with traditional soeakers almost impossible. Tech support w amazon terrible. Tech did not know to resolve. Got geek squad out and took them almost an hour to set up. Sound awesome. No more echo chamber effect.

A necessary add on with Alexa Studio
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing. I don’t have to turn on my entire surround system at home to hear louder music with bass. I simply have Alexa play music and this device makes a difference to hear bigger sound. It’s a must if you are a music lover.

The sound quality is very good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is very good. The major flaw is that once the subwoofer is paired to form a speaker set.... that speaker set cannot be part of a multi room music system.... so it effectively makes the speaker set ( speaker and subwoofer) a one room system.

Great Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Created a stereo pair with 2 echo dots and added this subwoofer. Very impressed with the sound. The sub is compact, but feels heavy and well made. I also like the fact its a standard power cord. NO BRICK!!! Very happy with this purchase.

Decent Sound considering the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice sound for the price. It doesn't add a lot of bass, but does provide a better sound when used with the Echo Gen 4. Seems well made and not to large.

For the money it's not bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money and simplicity of setup, it's really not a bad unit. I used this for my bathroom as a way to add some bass to an echo in there and for that purpose alone it's a bit overkill. Wouldn't say it's the best deal for the money but if you have echo devices this changes the sound entirely.

Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great and adds a lot of bass to my echo show 10. Highly recommended if you want to have the echo show instead of a non display model and have the same or similar sound as the studio.

Great for small houses
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The subwoofer is perfect for me. I have a small house and wanted something that sounded great and something that would not bother my neighbors. This is perfect for that. It was also easy to install with my Amazon echo (4th gen).

An excellent subwoofer two pair with Echo Dots!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Echo Sub is an extremely well-made device. I have it paired with two Echo Dats in my Master Bathroom, yep, My bathroom. I put the sub inside one of the sink cabinets and mounted the Echo Dots up on the wall. The Echo sub performs excellent in this odd configuration. I do wish there were audio settings for the sub but the default settings do perform nicely, and I do not have any complaints. Value, it's a little expensive and never seems to go on sale. But it does perform well for the price.

If I can only get it to sync with the speakers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've watch several videos on how to sync the sub with the speakers in order to get the full base richness of the speakers but after three weeks of trying with no luck I may return this to the store. I will continue to try and get them to sync this weekend if not I will return. The sound is great without the sub so it's a win-win!

A great addition to a pair of Echo Studios.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Echo Sub works with a variety of Echo devices, but I've paired it with two Studio Speakers. By themselves they sound very good, but with the Sub added in it really rounds out the experience. It's not a stand alone product and I don't know if it's good with older Echo's but once you've bought in for the Studio's theres no reason not to get this. Configuration of the Studios and the Sub as a group in the Alexa app is a real PITA. Be prepared for that to take some time.

Really added to the sound of my echos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this subwoofer! It won't blast you out of the house but adds a nice dimension to the sound quality of the echo. I have it paired with a new second generation echo and then have these two paired with an additional echo plus and have really enjoyed having good sounding music throughout my house. It did take a bit to figure out how to connect all three together since the instructions are vague but you can have this paired to one device or used in conjunction with multiple echos (do believe that multiple echos have to be second generation but don't quote me on that). This subwoofer plus the better sounding second generation echos have made me use Alexa and the echos a lot more in my house
