Alexa needed a little extra something.

I was using a set of echo 4's but wanted better sound. So I added a set of echo studio's. But to get that extra boom in the base I added in an echo sub. With the 5 speakers working together I'm getting great sound.

Great sound. Took a couple of times.moving it around in the room before I found the ultimate sound. Paired with the Echo Studio I'll make the room thump with quality sound.

I love this thing. I don’t have to turn on my entire surround system at home to hear louder music with bass. I simply have Alexa play music and this device makes a difference to hear bigger sound. It’s a must if you are a music lover.

I didn’t have any issues connecting it to my echo that others have reported. It has great sound. I was actually surprised how much bass comes from this thing. Makes music sound great. I’ve only tried it with Amazon Music as that’s the only music streaming service I really use. Only things I do not like is that you can’t connect it to two different echos. I have the 1st gen show in my living room and the 2nd gen show in my kitchen. I have it set up to play downstairs audio group. Well now the one in the kitchen doesn’t play when I use the audio group downstairs because it’s a different model echo. They have to be the same model. One other issue I have now is you can’t say “ Alexa stop” to stop playing music. I don’t know what’s causing that. Hopefully they fix the issue with a software update. You have to swipe on the screen and manually stop the music.

As an Echo fan, I'm completely happy with the sound quality for a device of this nature. You can definitely hear the stereo action, but I'm not sure it's worth it in a small room. Here's why, when you pair two new Echo Plus and the Sub, there is a definite problem with the response time. First, Echo gets confused on which should respond since there are two in the same proximity. Second, there is a delay in responding, sometimes ignoring my command (lower volume) completely. Hopefully, there is a software update that will solve the issues.

Sounds great and adds a lot of bass to my echo show 10. Highly recommended if you want to have the echo show instead of a non display model and have the same or similar sound as the studio.

Added that extra bass to my Alexa Show for improved sound quality. Fills the room with good sounds I’m use to hearing.

The sound quality is very good. The major flaw is that once the subwoofer is paired to form a speaker set.... that speaker set cannot be part of a multi room music system.... so it effectively makes the speaker set ( speaker and subwoofer) a one room system.

Nice sound for the price. It doesn't add a lot of bass, but does provide a better sound when used with the Echo Gen 4. Seems well made and not to large.

I added this to my 2 Echo Studio setup as the bass wasn't quite up to the task. The Echo Sub added a fullness to my setup that wasn't there before. I use my Echo setup for a home entertainment system in conjunction with a Fire TV cube. The Dolby Atmos does work pretty well and all in all, it's a pretty nice setup. The Sub was a big help in the lower frequency department. Cons: Amazon MUST put in a software fix that allows the Sub volume to be controlled independently of the Studios.

Created a stereo pair with 2 echo dots and added this subwoofer. Very impressed with the sound. The sub is compact, but feels heavy and well made. I also like the fact its a standard power cord. NO BRICK!!! Very happy with this purchase.

For the money and simplicity of setup, it's really not a bad unit. I used this for my bathroom as a way to add some bass to an echo in there and for that purpose alone it's a bit overkill. Wouldn't say it's the best deal for the money but if you have echo devices this changes the sound entirely.

The Echo Sub is an extremely well-made device. I have it paired with two Echo Dats in my Master Bathroom, yep, My bathroom. I put the sub inside one of the sink cabinets and mounted the Echo Dots up on the wall. The Echo sub performs excellent in this odd configuration. I do wish there were audio settings for the sub but the default settings do perform nicely, and I do not have any complaints. Value, it's a little expensive and never seems to go on sale. But it does perform well for the price.

The subwoofer is perfect for me. I have a small house and wanted something that sounded great and something that would not bother my neighbors. This is perfect for that. It was also easy to install with my Amazon echo (4th gen).

The Echo Sub works with a variety of Echo devices, but I've paired it with two Studio Speakers. By themselves they sound very good, but with the Sub added in it really rounds out the experience. It's not a stand alone product and I don't know if it's good with older Echo's but once you've bought in for the Studio's theres no reason not to get this. Configuration of the Studios and the Sub as a group in the Alexa app is a real PITA. Be prepared for that to take some time.
