upscales everthing to dolby vision ,picture is unbelievable, essy to set up, much faster than gen 1 version

Easily the best device available for streaming TV and movies. The cube defaults to the best quality my devices and source material can support. That alone, is a revelation. There are more expensive streamers out there that might load an app 1/2 second faster, but they require constant tweaking of system options to (maybe) get you there. The cube just defaults to Atmos and Dolby Vision or whatever is best is if it's available. No wasted time fiddling with options, more time to enjoy my movies. Plays everything I've thrown at it!

Ive never been able to hook it up to my TV’s. Maybe because ive got Fire Sticks attached to my 2 Samsung TV’s? I just dont know why it wont work.

These work great until they don't. Eventually they slow down so much that the built in user interface is nearly unusable.

Love being able to control my tv with my voice. Even though most tvs are smart tvs now I would still recomend

The size is too big and too many cable clutters. Need standard usb size for most keyboard input/bluetooh keyboard. Its very hard to setup with projector especially chinese brand off amazon. It tries to setup the IR code without telling me what it actually does.

In it's latest software 'upgrade' Fire TV forgot who many of their users are. People that don't want cable TV and commercials. What does the new interface offer? Advertisements for movies with commercials. Your recent history is hidden a few rows down. Your regular apps are half the size, I missed them entirely the first time. And I don't want to see movie ads from paramount + and channels I do NOT own. I do not want my screen saver to be ads, cut it out! My main reason for getting the cube was better set up of closed captioning, and some apps weren't working on my 2017 TV anymore. I hate this new upgrade. I watch less now. I turn it on, find what I want and shut it off. It's too annoying to do anything else.

Very disappointed when open the box and found optical & audio out eliminated. This feature enable me to send optical direct to amplify, it's the pass now. Will have to return now & look for future update.

The fire stick cube was a mistake when I made this purchase. The Install was no problem but every couple of seconds the screen would go blank and you can’t watch anything when this happens. This device should have been better prepared before it was made available to the public.

Alexa does not respond properly to commands. I use the accompanying firestick instead. today I misplaced the firestick and am unable to watch anything as the voice understanding and command are so ineffective.

Was not even able to get past registration screens before it froze up.
