I purchased this in order to "Cut the cord" and I like it much better than cable, I can tell Alexa to turn on the TV, play music torn off lights all in one compact unit in one word it is simply GREAT.

This 2nd generation cube is a huge improvement over the original. The original was extremely underpowered and slow. This version has addressed all of those short comings and I highly recommend it.

Overall, the fire cube has been a great device to use. I have it paired with 2 echo studio speakers, and that has been the problematic aspect. For the most part, the pairing has worked out fine. However, about 15% of the time, the fire does not communicate with the echo's very well. Additionally, as the sound is going through this device, there is no way to send the TV antenna over the air sound to the Fire to use the echo studios. I've also had issues getting the device to play after the screen saver has stopped. The play button doesn't work. You have to use the video forward/reverse to get the screen back, and then the play button will work. The interface is a bit clumsy to use. The latest update allows you to customize the main view, but i've yet to learn the ins and outs. Overall, its a good device with some correctable flaws.

Comes with a number of installed apps but you can install even more from your computer. They download directly to the Fire Cube if it's connected to Internet. Easy to use and enjoy!

Really love the product. Good size, delivers very good sound for the size, and was easily able to tie in my Ring Security System. Picture quality is first-rate. Would highly recommend this product.

Needed more space for internet t.v. than fire stick that has only 8 GB and the cube has 16 GB would love if had more space to hold lots more apps also work with echo & shows

I have no idea how I lived without this. I have a Sony 65” and a Bose solo 15. All works with voice. But the Bose I have to turn on first with its own remote.

If you have experience with other streaming boxes, you see that nothing else is a good with voice control as the cube is. Can control other devices by voice and more and more 3rd party apps being added for voice control.

Replace a 4K Fire stick with the cube. Pick it up on sale for $99.00. Worth the price for the extra memory. Set up just like a fire stick and is a extra echo with the built in speaker.

I have a few Firesticks and I purchased this Cube because it has 16GB of storage. Also it has a faster processor which makes the Cube run faster. However I am not sold on it just yet. However, I am ok with it at this point.

We have one hard wired in the family room and one wireless in the theater in the basement. Great 4K pictures when the signal is strong. Pairing with a Yamaha surround sound system was so easy I barely had to do anything beyond plugging it in. The Fire remote works the receiver volume and power. We've not been able to integrate any sound system with the Roku system, and have to use two remotes to make everything happen. But, the Roku seems to get better wireless reception in the basement. The Fire Cubes both seem to require re-starts quite often. That has been true since we first got them.

The cube is great upgrade for me i have a stick but i'm really getting into the streaming thing and wanted to upgrade.The storage is good and the on board app's are good as well.

Still getting used to it but so far so good. No complaints it seems to be a cool product and the fact that i can do EVERYTHING with Alexa instead of a remote is pretty cool.

I love my fire cube. I loose my remote almost always. I live the voice assistance that allows me to turn my tv on off change channels etc. It even paired with my existing surround sound system.

Fire TV completes loop in the Alexa ecosphere. Although it has not caught up to provide full interface with You Tube TV, it provides enhanced control over Alexa enabled products and controls.

Loved the ease of asking Alexa to turn the TV on or go to a channel. Only downfall is sometimes once your in an app it sometimes doesn't understand which profile to go into. Also remote seems to freeze often and has to be reset frequently.

i actually like this thing better than my apple tv, it’s way easier to use and has a ton of functionality compared to other media players and assistants. I love it.

I love the cube. Its works as advertised and very easy to set up. 90% voice-controlled. You will still need to use the remote on occasion but boy it is convenient.

Love this for all my video needs! Fast and I love the alexa add on. Great improvement from a regular old firestick!! Highly recommend for anyone who doesn't have cable.

I thought it was a great product w/ obvious enhancements over it's cheaper model. The additional features are definitely worth the price hike. No complaints about this product at all.
