this device is great it allows you to have basically an all in one voice control for cable box sound bar and tv and great streaming apps as well

This unit is incredibly fast. The set up automatically found my TV brand and my sound bar . Now everything works with the Amazon cube remote.

Lets start off by saying it is not worth the $120 it doesn't even come with a hdmi cord Get the firestick its the same thing for less money

My old firestick was slow and it kept freezing up. A friend told me about the box and I have been happy with it ever since.

Quick an great picture, my audio took a hit compared to the 4k firestick i have a older 2012 Samsung hdtv

I have the Shield TV, Chromecast and Roku Stick. My favorite is the Fire TV Cube. Now I would prefer to use the Shield TV, but the remote and controller are not very good as far as battery life. They get worse as time goes by. So I opted to purchase this instead of new controllers to try it out. I already liked the stick, but the cube is much more powerful so runs really well. Good app availability and the UI is pretty good.

Already had Amazon prime so wanted an easier way to get access to streaming services and don't have a smart TV - works great.

The box is small so it does not take a lot of space or obnoxious in the decor. It is very easy to install and use.

This thing is awesome! You can set it To turn on the TV in tune to whatever streaming channel you would like to see you all using Alexa

Wish this worked better with Sony TVs. I understand Sony has blocked this from working with its products. The fire cube works great with our other TVs though. I like the voice control and the small remote.

I had no problem installing this item and it worked just as I had hoped. Really enjoying this product, we use it just about every night.

So, this cube is better then the first one. BUT, the sound quality is horrid! My first Echo Dot from Alexa sounds 10 times better. It is very useful and quick with loading and programming. Do I need this? Not really! Cool to have! Setup on my bedroom TV! Tho, with as many devices you can have in one area that will respond to hey Alexa, there should be more then 4 words Alexa will respond to! Attention Fire TV and Alexa creators. Please allow us to set our own wake word, or give us more options. Thanks. Setup is sort of a pain, due to needing your account manager (Alexa app) to setup and control this beast. Again, much more power over the Gen 1 fire TV this replaced.

Great streamer with Dolby Vision! I love that it is an amazon echo built in, so it is always ready to respond to the “Alexa” command and function as a smart speaker (built-in speaker). One impressive extra feature was that during the setup the fire tv cube asked me my tv brand and receiver brand and input - now I can say “Alexa - turn on tv” and it turns on my receiver and tv to the correct inputs! Turns them off too. Not to mention I can use the “Alexa” command to open Netflix. I like the added convenience, great value!
