I purchased this to try vs our roku. Also because it advertises that it has recording abilities. I wanted to be able to record some shows since I dumped xfinity. I was unable to figure out how to record. I ended up adding xfinity beta app for $25 to get live TV. I found out that xfinity doesn't work with Amazon fire. So now I can only watch live on my roku. I also find the system more difficult to use than roku. I really don't like it. To late to return.
