Fire TV 4K media streamer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great streaming device. The 4K clarity and color it provides makes our Samsung 5year old 4K set pop! This is the best price I’ve seen on one of these devices. The setup is easy as pie. It takes you by the hand and leads you along. Make sure you have your tv configured to accept 4K signals on the HDMI port this device is connected to. When in doubt, ask for help either through Best Buy, the manufacturer of the TV or Amazon. We’re very happy with this device and I may buy another one as a gift for Christmas.

Pretty good so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved this at first. It’s like having a fire stick and a dot all in one. It’s awesome having one central hub for Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc. We loved being able to turn the tv on and off by voice command. But recently it stopped reacting to voice commands, and stopped controlling the receiver. We tried messing with it on the Alexa mobile app, but the only thing that really worked was disconnecting and unplugging it, then setting it back up again. It’s going to be really annoying if this keeps happening, and I’ll look for something else if it does.

Dolby Atmos on Netflix is only reason I bought it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I’m giving this 2 stars for a few of reasons and part of it is more of a problem with Amazon in general. First of all, the reason I bought this is that the Fire Stick 4k does not support Dolby Atmos for Netflix. I do not understand why, considering it’s available on Prime, Movies Anywhere, and Disney+ on the stick. This cube does support it but I’m pretty irritated that I had to spend another $80 to get that functionality. Secondly, this didn’t come with an HDMI cable, which is pretty unacceptable when you’re selling a streaming device this expensive. I had to use an old Nintendo HDMI cable while I wait for a more premium cable—that I also had to spend another $10 on—to arrive and I’m having HDMI handshake problems I never had with the fire stick. I only hope that the cable is the culprit here and not the cube itself. I’m also pretty irritated that you can’t buy one of these without Alexa integration. I have no desire to have an Alexa device in my home but here I am, because this is the only way to get Dolby Atmos on Netflix in the Amazon ecosystem. It does have a mute button that seems to stay muted but I don’t trust it. The wired network adapter that comes with it seems to be bad. It’s reliably capping my download speeds at 90mbps while my WiFi connection is pulling down 300+mbps. I was hoping that the wired connection would get me a more reliable connection but that speed doesn’t leave a lot of headroom in apps like Movies Anywhere. There’s also no Atmos for the Apple TV app just like on the Fire Stick 4k. I don’t know if this is an Apple thing or an Amazon thing but I don’t like it either way. The only positives here over the Fire Stick 4k are that it supports Atmos on Netflix, it appears to be slightly faster, it has more storage, and it does look nice (though not invisible like the stick).

Love my Amazon fire cube
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Amazon fire cube. It turns on and off my tv and av receiver.....controls cable box....Love the ability to switch channels with my voice, rewind/fast forward Netflix, YouTubeTV, Prime video. It can also control lights. From my kitchen, it can hear me to change channels, adjust the volume with my voice. No problems using it. I do notice improved performance with voice commands (rewind/fast forward) when it is hard wired via Ethernet instead of WiFi. Very convenient product to have.

Sol much faster than the Fire Stick 4K!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Need a little more horsepower than the 4K stick provided. Plus the extra storage is great if you plan to run KODI or any emulators on it!

Easy Set Up; Easy To Use; Extremely Helpful!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Amazon Fire TV Cube is an incredibly useful piece of technology! A few months ago, my girlfriend and I temporarily moved into an apartment after selling our house. The apartment had light switches in every room, however, only the kitchen and dining room had lights controlled by those switches. After purchasing the Amazon Fire TV Cube, along with a couple Amazon FireSticks, a new 65” Samsung TV with Alexa compatibility, and devices that plug into our electrical sockets, which we then plug our devises into (Lamps, TV’s, Fans, Speakers, etc..), we are able to control any light, lamp, tv or accessory that is plugged in to one of the Alexa-Compatible outlets from anywhere in the house. If you are near the cube, you only need to say “Hey Alexa-*your command*”. And if you are watching TV, all you need to do is click the microphone button on the remote, and do the same. My Samsung Smart TV had the Alexa feature built-in, so once I logged into my amazon account, I said “Alexa, turn off the living room lights.”-They turned off the first time, without having to even add the electrical socket device to the TV because it was already linked to the Amazon account, itself. Would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this 2nd gen to replace my 1st gen. It's easy to set up, navigate and command. It's also faster than the 1st gen of Fire TV.

Good enough to get job done
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not bad but , i like Alexa built in and stays on standby and you can turn tv on hands free. Runs quick and smooth. Picture quality across all streaming apps is decent but not stunning. Higher price competitors have better picture adaptability on all streaming apps but cost more than double, i returned because of the picture consistency . And what really annoyed me, is the advertisements on your home screen(Clutter). Not using 3rd party apps to remove ads either. Fancy fair priced device, but unfortunately i found something better.

Excellent If you don’t own first gen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is excellent product and worth the money especially considering it can work as a smart home manager. New cube has snappy response thanks to the new processors and Excelled hdr support like Dolby vision and hdr plus. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading from first gen cube especially considering Amazon doesnt have any good trade in program ( 20% off for new cube plus 1$ for old cube is the only offer as of writing)
