    I bought this because of its Ethernet hard wire capability from the router, but resolution wise, it is not as good as my older second-generation Fire TV I upgraded from. But other features are all what I need. The controller is simple and easy to operate. And browsing is straight forward.

    Fire cube is somewhat unreaponsive at times and will also freeze constantly ... im getting close to returning it as my new tv already has the same stuff ... it is nice because it has alexa and most of my stuff runs off the firecube command but i can use my echo 8 for that as well

    So far this streamer has been flawless. My TV does 4K/60p, but only DV in either 4K/30 or 1080p/60. This box is able to seamlessly switch between modes easily. Even my old Nvidia pro couldn't do it.

    I like this all in one device. Get to stream shows in 4K, third party apps and get to control my smart home reducing clutter on my entertainment center. Sleek design and simple to use. The universal remote is a plus, one or two less remotes to keep track of.

    I've had nearly every streaming stick out there over the last 5 years. Nothing and mean nothing tops the fire cube. HDMI pass through to Vizio 5.1 soundbar means that all my programs sound terrific. Search by voice for any content. Highly recommended!!!

    Fire cube is a lot stronger than the fire stick! We needed a stronger direct signal to an outdoor TV and the fire stick was cutting it. We installed the fire cube under a covered pavilion and it did the trick!

    I purchased due to some missing apps on the previous model. I have only noticed minor improvements such as 4k and easier connection with my tv, cable box, and receiver. I still like fire tv but they could have made more upgrades so I’m a little disappointed.

    works but not as good as my 1st one has problems with voice commands , turning tv off and on and still not working and sound issues for some reason with my lg tv i may return for an exchange

      Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help resolve these issues. For voice command problems, try moving the Fire TV Cube away from other speakers or devices that may interfere with the microphone, and ensure the device software is up to date by going to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for Updates. For the TV power on/off issue, go to Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment and re-run the setup for your LG TV to ensure the correct IR and HDMI-CEC settings are configured. Make sure HDMI-CEC (called "SimpLink" on LG TVs) is enabled in your TV's settings. For the sound issues, check that the audio output settings on the Fire TV Cube match your setup by going to Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio, and try switching between audio formats such as Stereo, Dolby Digital, or Best Available to see which works best with your LG TV.

    These work very well. I like the convenience and features. I have been through several in my condo near the ocean - being close to saltwater kills them fairly quickly. The units I have in my home far from the ocean have great longevity.
