    Thought this had some extra features that a regular firestick didnt have, unless Im using it wrong dont really see a difference. Just stick with a firestick.

    Very unsatisfied with the picture quality. I also have Roku on the same TV and the picture is outstanding. With the Cube the pic is snowy on some channels. Same channels on Roku, no problem.

    The RJ45 port is only 100mbs, slow in terms of todays standard, also locked up all the time. I returned and got a google TV streamer with 1000mbs port.

    Needs to be able to process faster than 100mbps. Too much buffering

      Restart your Fire TV Cube.
      Clear app data for Fire TV Cube apps.
      Restart your home network devices (for example, modems and routers).
      Connect to Ethernet with the included Ethernet-adapter if possible.
      Use a High-Speed HDMI cable for streaming titles in 4K Ultra HD.

    More or less the same as the 3gen Vey disappointed of the out hdmi i only got sound no picture when i plug my nintendo switch

    Please be careful when you spend your money at Best Buy. They are a rip off. I purchased the wrong item. I sent it back after a month. They tell me I sent them an empty box after I kept asking where is my refund? Where is my refund? that’s the answer they gave me that I’ve mailed back an empty box never any proper customer service they brush you off and tell you you were receive a call in two days after trying for 10 times. It’s the same exact words each customer service representative tell you they have in front of them tell you how important you are and then they brush you off you never hear from them again I do not have $119 to throw away. Be careful, they all have a story and a game to play with our money

    We love our fire cubes on our TVs We no longer pay for dish or DIRECTV we watch TV off of apps now. I save $150 a month by not ordering dish or DIRECTV anymore .. Best decision we have ever made..

    Works well thus far. We have firesticks but this is our first device we can really talk to. We bought this to have enough room for apps while we cut the cord and go to streaming services.

    As far as ease of use this thing bombs. I purchased this for one TV and a ROKU for my second. The ROKU I hade set up in Minutes. I spent an hour working with the Fire Cube and never did get it completely set up. I wanted to get away from my terrible Samsung menu and got one that was even worse. I had to google to get instructions on how to add and remove channel and then Spectrum wasn't even listed??? I don't get the positive reviews. Huge disappointment. Returning it for another ROKU device that actually works.

    I did like this..however had to exchange this because it kept freezing. I had to do restarts every day. The exchanged unit did the same thing. I finally returned and got the Fire 4K Max, which I paired with my Echo Dot. Much much better…with no freezing issues.
