Decided to add smart home elements to my home and added the TV cube. It works great, in the areas that it works. ( turning the tv off and on, changing inputs, volume, pausing, play back, replaced my android box). Con: Voice commands do not work with most apps (for moving,scrolling, etc). Alexa has 90 percent functionality ( you can drop in from this device and a few other features). Overall is it good for most of the things we use it go but if does not completely eliminate your need for a remote.

I bought this to replace my Firestick since it was several years old. It is a great deal and works perfectly for our needs.

This unit is great overall for anyone looking for higher performance that you have with the fire tv vs fire stick all while adding Amazon Alexa functionality.

I got this device to home my home automation setup. I have Echo devices in each room and this device connects to my living room tv. When I listen to music, it comes thru the surround sound speakers. I can search movies on fire tv app easily, but sometimes it's a little challenging to press play. What's cool is, I can ask alexa to show me the Ring front door camera, or any of the arlo camera's on the tv. When I ask for the weather, it shows up on the screen. So it works like a echo show. Overall happy with it.

I updated from the Original Amazon Fire TV Box to the Cube, it is Faster, Remote has less issues, has been a Great Purchase.

I like that I can tell Alexa to turn on and off tv with my Yamaha receiver and adjust volume or watch movies with just my voice

Love the cube this is my first Amazon anything and I love it makes it hard to go back to the remote after having one of those

Easy to use and set up . Well worth a try if you are tired of your cable bill.i found so many more movies to watch using this unit.

This connected with my TV on the first try and it is quite novelty to be able to turn your TV off and on with voice commands.

set up and installation was very simple. no compatibility issues with tv and amp. very few issues with commands.

Much less painful than an Apple product on the price front and a little easier to navigate and use, especially the remote.

We have both Roku and this Fire cube. The cube is easier to use and pairs well with our 4K TV. The voice remote is great too.

I purchased this hoping to be blown away because of the advertising from the Amazon table in the store. However, after setting it up, I found out the user interface is overloaded with advertisements and there are definitely not as many channels or apps to choose from as there are on the Roku devices, which I have 5 of those in the house. I do like the Alexa part of it, but I wish I would have bought the Roku Ultra and then the Google Mini to have on the side as that works with Roku.

Works very well with everything in the man cave, old Sony amp, DVD player, Cable box...

I am loving the fire tv cube. I have hooked to my bedroom. Nothing better that surfing for movies in your bed without the remote.

Purchased this for a friend with MS, who has trouble moving around in their home. The Fire TV Cube was a bit tricky to set up, only because the TV being used was a bit older, and the cable box was ancient, too. After a bit of wrangling, everything worked well, thanks to the on-screen instructions. Amazon has done a good job of integrating all possible configurations into the Fire Cube TV to help in set up, but if the equipment you're adding to the Fire Cube TV is more than 5 years old, you may have difficulty in set-up. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product and it works as advertised.

i bought this on a deal when i bought my samsung tv... great deal! im glad i purchased this and not the regular firestick.
