I had a bit of a pickle on my hands because I have 65 inch 4k tv wireless mounted on w as ll with soundbar. However I wanted to cut my cable so I bought the firestick but it would not play via the hdmi port on my modem. I dont know what made me try the fire TV cube but I'm glad I did! Works perfectly so I can stream via the fire unit without messing up my aesthetics. O also love how it interacts with my vivint so I use the fire tv cube to lock my doors etc. Getting ready to but another for the bedroom

I got this to control everything in my house turns lights on and off with other controls works all my TV shows works great

It used to require 3 remotes to turn on my TV, Yahama 7.1 receiver and other components. Now I just say "Alexa, turn on TV"

THIS LITTLE CUBE TOOK AND OLD BLAND TV AND MADE IT SMART - MY FAVORITE THING IS EVERTHING IS VOICE COMMAND.

I was familiar with the fire stick and this is better, can be used with smart home products. Was very easy to set up

My previous 4K Fire TV died on me a little more than a year after purchase, and I wasn't amused. Best Buy was offering the new Fire TV Cube at a significant discount, so I bit. So far, it functions well, after some trial and error. I must admit I haven't used (nor intend to) the Alexa feature, so I can't comment on that. As a component of the Amazon digital realm, you have to feel a little manipulated, though there is real value if you take advantage. As with its predecessor, getting the back off the remote to install batteries is shamefully troublesome.

Easy integration with my tv and set up with the amazon studios for better quality sound than tv speakers.

We have several fire sticks and decided to try the cube. The cube is considerably faster than last generation of fire stick.
