The battery cover on the controller is loose and slides off easily. Sometimes the unit hangs up when watching youtube, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Disney+ and its not due to internet connection. Seems like it struggles to buffer at times. I like the ability to use voice commands, although it does not always understand the commands. This needs improvement.

Fire TV is good, but this version is just so-so

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This version doesn't work with projectors, and it sometimes conflicts with other Echo devices (I have to mute those) and then it doesn't coordinate music with the other Echo devices unfortunately. On the good side, it does do your voice pretty well, but could use some work in the individual apps. I find that except for searching something specific, the remote is usually a lot easier and faster.

Talking to a 2 year old
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It takes a while to learn the commands to prompt Alexa, but give her time and she will be able to predict what you want to see or hear before you even know it yourself. The remote is not user friendly for the visually or tactically challenged. Alexa picks up when not expecting. "Hey Alexa" probably would have been better. The use of YouTube is impaired probably due to the politics between Google and Amazon. Work together big IT... please.
