Good for the price, a little lagging

Works well, too smart for its own good

It’s a great piece of hardware for those of us who don’t have smart TVs or countless other reasons. Our first gen box died, so we upgraded. We turned the Alexa function off after it paused itself to listen when people on tv said things that don’t even rhyme with Alexa. Pretty frustrating when turning off the function didn’t stop the tv from pausing and listening for a few seconds. Still love the system, I’d love to be able to really turn Alexa off though.

Better than a Fire Stick

I was able to quickly integrate my TV, AV Receiver, Cable Box, and Playstation in less than 5 minutes. There are tons of apps (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc) that are installed by default but more available. Was surprised how well it integrated visually with my Smart Home. So I get notified through the TV when a door is opened that is monitored or when the doorbell rings.
