I have great internet service and this was a no-brainer for me. My return on investment for buying the amazon cube and ditching DirectTv will be 1 month, I already had amazon prime and purchased the Hulu app subscription without ads both my wife and I more than pleased with this decision.

Best version of Fire-TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had a first gen Fire Stick that would always over heat and start having errors, and the living room was the only room to not have an Echo device...this solved both problems. Set up was quick and easy, it controls our TV and tried to control our 5.1 system but never could but given the fact that it is a 10 year old system, not surprised and can't hold it against the cube.
